Arc 5The River and the New Grounds
Wang Quan suppressed the anomalies at the Fury River, cleared the Cafeteria, and began organizing a large-scale development of his mountain valley. As he and Ying Jiaren focused on the Miscellaneous Goods Hall, Ying Jiaren reached the limit of her Yin Spirit’s foundation and prepared to pursue a Yang Spirit.
- Wang Quan used earth veins, money, and Dharma Power to bind anomalies at the Fury River, then taught other cultivators how to create forbidden zones at baleful intent sites.
- Wang Quan confronted Universal Illumination over escaped anomalies and threatened him with a straw effigy after warning him to keep anomalies away from his refining grounds.
- Ying Jiaren entered the Second-Layer World, learned the People-Crossing Scripture, and practiced it with Wang Quan to strengthen her Yin Spirit.
- Wang Quan and the cultivators cleared the Cafeteria’s cooks and helped its ball-shaped steward escape Evil, after which the Cafeteria collapsed and bestowed favor on them.
- Wang Quan wrote back to Fairy Qin, the Officiant Daoist Nun, and the Dream Nun, then joined the cultivators in choosing the Miscellaneous Goods Hall as their next target.
- Wang Quan and Ying Jiaren used the People-Crossing Scripture to clear the Miscellaneous Goods Hall while A Fei organized the wild boar Spirit Monsters to produce sunlight for money.
- Wang Quan hired Ma Yan to plan development of his mountain valley and arrange housing, farmland, and spiritual resources for the workers and cultivators he intended to gather.
- Wang Quan told Ma Yan he had another way to handle the anomalous forbidden ground, then Ying Jiaren said her Yin Spirit’s foundation had reached its limit and asked to transform it into a Yang Spirit.
