Background / History

Taishu Yun was raised in the Taishu Family as the elder son of Taishu Feng and Murong Jingyun and grew up alongside his younger brother, Taishu Jing. After attaining 500 jin of strength in his first cultivation session, he learned that a Taishu prodigy had once reached 80,000 jin in the Blood Bone Realm. Yun resolved to surpass that record and embraced Jing’s ambition for the brothers to become invincible in the Great Marsh of Cloud Dream 3.

As a child, he was shy and reserved around Lan Xiyue, his childhood sweetheart. He declined to let an arranged marriage decide their future, preferring to leave their relationship to fate 4 28.

He and Jing cultivated in the Cloud Dream Mountain Range, faced the beast tide threatening their hometown, explored ancient ruins, and forged Dao Bodies through Heavenly Tribulation. Yun later left home with Jing and Little White to seek greater opportunities beyond the Cloud Dream Marsh 30 40 54 84 170.

After becoming separated from Jing and Little White when an underground palace vanished into space, Yun travelled alone for over three years toward the Center of the Continent. He endured disasters, hunted demons, survived pursuit by Kings, and achieved enlightenment through the world itself before entering the Center as a Peak Saint 221 222.

At Star Palace, Yun reunited with Lan Xiyue, became one of its foremost Heavenly Prides, and eventually revealed both his identity as Taishu Jing’s elder brother and his relationship with Xiyue 222 229. He later ascended to the Divine Realm in response to the looming release of the Ancient Divine Race’s Divine Lord and Divine Empress 505 514.

Personality

Taishu Yun is composed, serious, and cautious, particularly in contrast to Taishu Jing’s more carefree nature. He thinks before acting, but does not hesitate once he decides a threat must be eliminated; this is shown in his killing of the Gray Fox, Shentu Xing, and the masked Death God Body cultivator 104 166 256 257.

His confidence is rooted in ambition and discipline rather than arrogance. He seeks the summit of cultivation, treats the world and his opponents as sources of learning, and pursues personal goals even when prestigious organizations offer him membership 46 141 222.
