Meanwhile, Xue Qingcheng arrived in the Nine Netherworlds Abyss searching for Lin Mo and discovered the Netherbone Divine Hall.

• Black Tortoise told White Tiger that the Netherworld had invaded the Nine Netherworlds Continent and that Lin Mo was their hope because the Void Suppression Demon-Sealing Record had recognized him.
• White Tiger agreed to merge with the record but followed Black Tortoise and Vermilion Bird into Lin Mo's Sea of Consciousness after learning they first needed to rescue Azure Dragon.
• Chen Li warned that Lin Mo's injuries would require two or three days of rest, while White Tiger bragged about the power of his Hundredfold Fist Dance.

• Xue Qingcheng used the Snow Mist Art to enter the Central Court, freezing and killing dozens of soul slaves while searching for Lin Mo.
• Xue Qingcheng overheard Bing Hun explain that an invader had destroyed the Netherworld Evil Treasures in the Northern, Western, and Southern Courts and was expected to head east.
• Xue Qingcheng realized the invader was Lin Mo and decided to travel east to join him.
• Bing Hun detected Xue Qingcheng, and she dispelled her disguise and identified herself as the silver-haired invader.

Meanwhile, Lin Mo recovered and traveled toward the Eastern Court with his companions, intent on contacting Azure Dragon’s soul.

• Bing Hun told the three Baleful Stars that the intruder was a white-haired woman who had defeated him and was heading east.
• Li Yuan concluded that the woman planned to destroy the Eastern Court’s evil treasure and release Azure Dragon’s soul.
• Li Yuan ordered Zhu Jiaonu and Mu Zhankuang to muster Nether Guards and Evil Generals, and proposed releasing a powerful lord to stop the intruder.

Black Tortoise, White Tiger, and Vermilion Bird tried to contact Azure Dragon and learned that his soul was sealed by a Netherworld Evil Treasure. Azure Dragon urged them to abandon the lower planes, and Lin Mo dismissed him as a good-for-nothing unwilling to be rescued.

• Black Tortoise explained that Azure Dragon came from the Dragon Clan and was its future patriarch, then searched the Heavenly Baleful Cloud Marsh for him without success.
• Vermilion Bird and White Tiger joined Black Tortoise in searching, but they found no trace of Azure Dragon.
• Azure Dragon spoke through Lin Mo's Sea of Consciousness and revealed that a Netherworld Evil Treasure had sealed his soul.
• Azure Dragon told the others to give up on the lower planes because they could not resist the Netherworld.
• Lin Mo said Azure Dragon was not worth rescuing because he had willingly given up.

Lin Mo confronted Azure Dragon about his despair, then learned that the Heavenly Baleful Soul-Slaying Sword had sealed the senior’s soul. Azure Dragon explained how Lin Mo could draw out the sword and free him.

• Azure Dragon unleashed his dragon might against Lin Mo, but Lin Mo challenged him for refusing to defend his homeland and people.
• Black Tortoise told Azure Dragon that Lin Mo had destroyed three Netherworld Evil Treasures and gained the Void Suppression Demon-Sealing Record’s recognition.
• Azure Dragon revealed that the Heavenly Baleful Soul-Slaying Sword had sealed his soul, and Black Tortoise explained that the weapon had been transformed from an Asura Sword Domain immortal artifact.

Lin Mo and his companions began the trials required to free Azure Dragon, but the Heaven-Swallowing Evil Python swallowed their attacks and charged at them. The chapter ended as Lin Mo raised the Spirit Plant Altar and the python's maw descended on them.

• Black Tortoise rescued Lin Mo, Feng Xu, and Mo Qing from the Python’s attack with Mystic Spirit Heaven Draw, but warned he could use the technique only once in a short span.
• Feng Xu and Mo Qing’s attacks were swallowed by the Python, so Lin Mo told them to focus on dodging its lunges.

• Lin Mo used the Immortal Commanding Tree seed and the Big Dipper Sword Formation to kill the Heaven-Swallowing Evil Python, then sealed its remains with the Soul-Devouring Vine.
• Lin Mo, Feng Xu, and Mo Qing replenished their spiritual power in the Gourd Space and headed to Heavenly Demon Peak.

• Lin Mo used the Heavenly Thunder World-Cleansing Fruit to unleash a Thunder Spear that paralyzed the Thunder Nether Bat.

He left the battle with a way to weaken the demon ape and explained that saving the Nine Netherworlds Continent required awakening the Void Suppression Demon-Sealing Record and driving out the Netherworld.

• The Blood-Drinking Demon Ape regenerated his severed arm using evil aura from the surrounding trees, then grew stronger and attacked Lin Mo and Feng Xu.
• Lin Mo realized that the demon ape could not be defeated while the evil trees replenished his vitality, but Vermilion Bird could not burn them all at once.

• Black Tortoise explained that the Four-Aspect Soul-Suppressing Formation could seal the Heavenly Baleful Soul-Slaying Sword, but it required Azure Dragon or another source of Dragon Clan power.

• Zhu Jiaonu stabbed Xue Qingcheng with the Peach-Pink Dagger, and Mu Zhankuang struck her into a rock wall, leaving her unable to stand.
