At one moment, all living beings watched with their pupils suddenly contracting.
Within the vast, empty Universe, mysterious light of merit coalesced.
Then merit from the Great Dao descended, vast as an abyss, surging in an immeasurable torrent.
"Merit? Is that endless merit?!"
"Heavens, it is even higher-order merit from the Great Dao, wondrous beyond comprehension and description."
"Fellow Daoist Wine Sword Immortal saved all living beings from catastrophe and reshaped the Four Extremities of Heaven and Earth. He deserves such merit."

All living beings could not help exclaiming in awe.
Earlier, Nuwa had likewise received immense merit from the Heavenly Dao for Mending the Heavens.
Yet no one had expected Gu Changqing's rewards to be even more astonishing than hers.
