Having learned the whole story, Hun Changqing could think of nothing but the Main Soul. He no longer had the patience to waste words on Xingxiu.

Hun Changqing reached out, grabbed Xingxiu, who was still clutching his robes tightly, and forcibly pulled her away from him.

Hun Changqing looked at Xingxiu standing before him, her face full of resentment. He glanced at her delicate, fair face, streaked with tears and wet with those that had yet to dry, then at the tears she had left on his robes. A trace of distaste flashed through his eyes.

Hun Changqing was something of a clean freak. Now that Xingxiu had dirtied his clothes, however beautiful she was, and even though she had left nothing but tears on his robes, he felt uncomfortable all over, as though ants were crawling across his skin.

With a wave of his hand, Hun Changqing flung Xingxiu out through the wooden doorway under her utterly horrified gaze. Supreme Yin True Qi then spread out, and a new ward appeared over the wooden door.

After throwing Xingxiu out of the secret chamber, Hun Changqing immediately felt that it had grown quieter inside, improving his mood considerably.

He hurriedly took off the black robe stained by Xingxiu's tears and pulled a brand-new one from his Storage Ring. He had plenty of these standard Soul Palace black robes in stock, so there was no need to economize. Once he had changed into the fresh robe, he fired out a streak of Supreme Yin True Qi, shattering the robe Xingxiu had dirtied into dust.

Then Hun Changqing composed himself and took out the Main Soul again. Looking at the lingering pain on its illusory face, a vicious gleam flashed through his eyes.

"Wretched thing, now I'll deal with you!"
