Mu Qinglan attacked Liu Qingyang at Cloudpeak Sacred Land, mistaking his demonic artifact for proof of demonic cultivation and claiming authority as an Emperor Pavilion Envoy. She demanded the sacred land hand over Liu Qingyang and evidence of collusion, while Lei Yantian and the others tried to understand what she wanted.
Mu Qinglan and Chun Xiaobai’s group confronted Cloudpeak Sacred Land over Elder Liu’s Demonic Artifact, and Lei Yantian hastily offered up valuables to avoid blame. Chun Xiaobai ordered a retreat, and the group realized they had left Elder Liu behind and hurried back.
Chun Xiaobai's group left Cloudpeak Sacred Land with a haul of rare treasures after Lei Yantian convinced his elders not to pursue them. At the meeting point, Chun Xiaobai and Mu Qinglan argued over how to divide the treasure, while Bai Jin'er objected that it was not spirit stones.
Chun Xiaobai rewarded the elders with treasures after their raid, while Cangshan Daoist arranged for the displaced Liu Qingyang to join the Azure Cloud Sect. The next day, Chun Xiaobai’s group raided the Mystic Heaven Sacred Land, but Bai Jin'er was frustrated that Mu Qinglan once again handled the negotiations and they earned no spirit stones.
Chun Xiaobai and Mu Qinglan spent a month collecting treasures from Sacred Lands, then Chun Xiaobai led his companions on a massive spending spree across the Northern Twelve Provinces. After they regrouped, Bai Jin'er was the only one missing.
Mu Qinglan continued buying treasures and studying books on how to win over the Great King, while Ling Tianchen tried to spend the Ten Thousand Sects Alliance’s trillion spirit stones and found that prices had skyrocketed. He gathered more funds by claiming anomalies were preparing a major attack, and Mu Qinglan asked him how far the alliance’s investigation had gotten.
Mu Qinglan and Chun Xiaobai continued robbing sacred lands, while Ling Tianchen tried to catch up with the mysterious entity and contact the same lands. The chapter left Mu Qinglan urging Chun Xiaobai to keep working after he stopped following their latest raid.
Chun Xiaobai left the Sacred Lands to cultivate, while Bai Jin'er kept watch over Mu Qinglan and Yun Huoyue as romantic rivals. In seclusion, he used Rare Treasures to open his divine treasury and gained a tremendous increase in power.
Chun Xiaobai used his collected treasures to complete the Treasure-Building Realm and push toward the Divine-Opening Realm. After sacrificing sixteen supreme treasures, he triggered a violent breakthrough in his cave.
Chun Xiaobai completed a mysterious breakthrough and reached what he called the Divine-Opening Realm, while tribulation clouds gathered over the valley where Mu Qinglan and the Azure Cloud Sect elders were staying. Mu Qinglan realized Chun Xiaobai was behind the clouds and accused him of ambushing her, but the elders carried her away as they feared heavenly retribution.
Mu Qinglan concealed Chun Xiaobai’s identity and ordered everyone to withdraw as the heavenly tribulation clouds dispersed. Inside the Martial God Tower’s Second Layer, Chun Xiaobai fought bronze men armed with broadswords and began using his blade techniques to face their trial.
Chun Xiaobai defeated the bronze men in the Martial God Tower, learned the Dragon-Slaying Saber Technique, and was expelled from the tower. Back in the Cave, he faced Mu Qinglan, whose spear thrust his Golden Bell Shield repelled at the cost of most of his strength.
Mu Qinglan tried to attack Chun Xiaobai, but Yun Huoyue and Bai Jin'er protected him, and the elders calmed Mu Qinglan by reminding her of the sect’s wealth. Chun Xiaobai set out to collect the stronghold’s Fourth Boss, Xiao Zhang, while the group debated their boss rankings.
Chun Xiaobai led his group to Heavenly Baleful Valley to retrieve his brother, but Mu Qinglan and the others raced ahead to loot the rear mountain. They targeted Zheng Tianyuan by throwing a Demonic Sword into his hands, setting him up to take the blame for what came next.
Zheng Tianyuan was accused of being a demon after the Emperor Pavilion’s Black-Armored Army found him holding a Demonic Sword, while Ye Liuli suspected the supposed envoys were impostors. The confrontation remained unresolved as Ye Liuli acknowledged the sword was genuine but Zheng Tianyuan insisted he had only just picked it up.
Ye Liuli recognized Chun Xiaobai as the bandit who had kidnapped her, but Chun Xiaobai used Xiao Zhang’s confession to accuse the Heavenly Baleful Valley of harboring a demon. As Ye Liuli weighed whether she could stop the impostors, Mu Qinglan began listing their investigation expenses.
Chun Xiaobai's group extorted Heavenly Baleful Valley, took Xiao Zhang with them, and escaped to their base. There, they learned Ye Liuli had recognized Chun Xiaobai because of her Void Insight True Eye, while the group met Xiao Zhang as the Black Wind Stronghold's Fourth Boss.
Mu Qinglan encountered Lu Qingshan and the bandits prepared to target the Sacred Land, while Ye Liuli used Chun Xiaobai’s Demonic Sword to explain Heavenly Baleful Valley’s predicament to her father. The chapter ended with Ye Liuli revealing that Chun Xiaobai’s group had extorted thirty billion spirit stones from the sect.
Ye Liuli persuaded Ye Xiaotian to imitate the Emperor Pavilion’s extortion scheme and use a Demonic Artifact to force sects to pay. Ye Xiaotian approved her plan, and she began recruiting Zheng Tianyuan as an assistant.
Ye Liuli and Ye Xiaotian planned to disguise their people in gold armor to impersonate Emperor Pavilion Envoys, while Chun Xiaobai’s group discovered a hidden sacred land above the clouds. After breaking through its barrier, Chun Xiaobai learned the upper realm contained spirit crystals, which he believed could meet his needs.
Chun Xiaobai led his group into a sacred land, where they extorted a disciple for rare treasures and spirit stones. After the successful haul, Xiao Zhang won Chun Xiaobai’s favor with extravagant flattery and received a ten-billion-spirit-stone bonus.
Ye Liuli turned the Heavenly Baleful Valley’s elders into a force and began extorting sects under the guise of Emperor Pavilion Envoys. After a successful raid on the Great Yu Sect, Ye Xiaotian led the next operation, but his overly threatening approach provoked the target sect to fight back.
Ye Liuli’s Heavenly Baleful Valley successfully extorted two top-tier sects, while Ling Tianchen’s investigation brought together several sacred lands that had also been robbed. The furious sacred lands pursued the bandits, but found only more victims and began to suspect something was wrong.
After being beaten and driven away by the Sacred Lords, Ling Tianchen quit the investigation and told Mu Qinglan he was returning to Alliance headquarters, cutting off her source of intelligence. Mu Qinglan decided to have Chun Xiaobai lead the group as they pursued the remaining Sacred Lands to plunder.
Chun Xiaobai offered Mu Qinglan the position of Sixth Boss in Black Wind Stronghold, but Bai Jin'er tried to stop him by listing Mu Qinglan’s faults. As Chun Xiaobai described the position’s generous perks, Mu Qinglan remained worried that their pursuers would catch up with them.
