After reaching the Imperial Capital, Lin Xuan learned about the dangerous exchange program in Ba Wu Giant City and traveled to Newland Island for the selection, where tensions flared among the delegations.

• Lin Xuan warned Vice President Qian that the creature was a calamity, and the Toad King confirmed it before Lin Xuan left with Lin Hai and sought a place in the Old Soil exchange program.
• After calamities spread worldwide, Lin Xuan and Lin Long left home for the Imperial Capital and became trapped with their fellow passengers in an Earthbound Calamity aboard the train.
• Lin Long took the Puppet Soldier from the Don Quixote Family, and Lin Xuan bound it after Lin Long severed its connection to its owner.
• Lin Xuan and Lin Long exposed Yang Jian as the calamity’s vessel and tried to seal him, but the calamity escaped before the Toad King swallowed it.

As Earth Origin Star’s young talents met powerful visitors, Jia Ke Yi’s attack on Lin Xuan sparked a fight that drew the Monarch-level Jia Nan Sen to Lotus Restaurant.
