After reaching earth tier fifth grade, Tang Yan felt he could now fully control the Fire Spirit Qi around him.
With a thought, he reached out and flicked Little Dot on the forehead, instantly waking the little creature.
"Keep up." Calling out, Tang Yan headed toward the fifth level of the Nine Nether Fire Sea.
Still groggy with sleep, Little Dot swayed from side to side while following Tang Yan toward the fifth-level entrance.
The environment inside the fifth level was very different from that of the fourth.
The area was noticeably smaller, and the ground was uneven, presumably because few people ever set foot here.
There was no raging Fire Spirit Power, nor were there constantly erupting flames. Yet the surrounding air was a faint crimson.
An all-pervading, searing heat assailed him. Caught off guard, Tang Yan felt as though the blood in his body was about to evaporate.
Even drawing a breath made his lungs feel as though they were burning.
"Is this the inside of an alchemy furnace?" Tang Yan nearly gave in to the urge to run back to the fourth level.
The pain brought on by the Dragon Snake Pill had yet to fade. Though the fifth level's conditions were harsh, compared with the agony of his veins twisting and turning, they did not seem so unbearable. It hurt either way; a little more made no difference!
Having made up his mind, Tang Yan found somewhere to sit. Tilting his head to glance at Little Dot, he found nothing unusual about the little creature, who remained bleary-eyed with sleep. Tang Yan marveled inwardly.
Just what kind of monster was this little thing? How was it so damn amazing?
After watching for a while, Tang Yan gathered his thoughts and began absorbing the surrounding Fire Spirit
