Lei Protector did not keep him guessing either. Smiling, he took a spirit herb from his storage space and held it out to Tang Yan. "Feng Chenye brought Elder Shen's token and said Young Master Tang needed Divine Soul Grass. Elder Shen immediately decided to send the herb over. I hope we haven't come too late."
Tang Yan's heart gave a sudden leap. One glance was enough for him to confirm that the herb was genuine.

"Young Master Tang, this is the Twin Harmony Fruit I promised you earlier. Please accept it." Elder Fan did not delay either, taking out a spherical plant.
Accepting the two plants, Tang Yan felt the Heaven-Earth Creation Cauldron inside him begin to shake violently. With a thought, he put both spirit herbs into the Chaos Space.
The two elders assumed Tang Yan had placed the herbs in his storage space and suspected nothing.
Taking a deep breath and firmly suppressing his delighted surprise, Tang Yan cupped his hands. "Words of thanks cannot repay such great kindness. I, Tang Yan, will remember this favor. If you ever need me, I will brave mountains of blades and seas of fire, and would not refuse even ten thousand deaths!"
Hearing Tang Yan's promise, Elder Fan and Lei Protector relaxed inwardly. Wasn't forging this favorable connection with Tang Yan exactly why they had gone to such lengths?
"Young Brother Tang, you're being too serious. If you come to the Northern Spirit Realm in the future, be sure to visit often," Lei Protector said with a smile.
Tang Yan nodded and led the two toward the Reach the Summit Base. "Today, I'll give you both a proper welcome and wash away the dust of your journey."
