"Young master, please wait!" Before Tang Yan had taken more than a few steps, Fire Phoenix swung down from her horse and swiftly blocked his path.
Tang Yan studied Fire Phoenix closely.
She had an oval face, large eyes, and a touch of bewitching beauty to her features. Her martial artist's clothes hugged her body, making those eye-catching globes look ready to burst free.
"Something you need?" Tang Yan asked with a smile.
Fire Phoenix asked respectfully, "Young master, do you have those three medicinal ingredients?"
"No." Tang Yan shook his head.
Disappointment flickered in Fire Phoenix's eyes before she asked, "Are you well versed in medicine, young master?"
A mocking look appeared on Tang Yan's face. "Why should I tell you?"
In an instant, Fire Phoenix guessed why Tang Yan was displeased. She said softly, "I was too impatient just now. Please don't hold it against me, young master."
"What was that? I didn't hear you."
Fire Phoenix's eyes widened. How could she fail to see that this fellow was deliberately humiliating her?
She had run roughshod over the Northern Spirit Realm. When had anyone ever dared speak to her like this?
She barely suppressed the urge to cleave this fellow apart with a palm strike. Tang Yan felt an utterly terrifying aura suddenly lock onto him, making even his movements feel sluggish.
The faces of those around them changed. The presence Fire Phoenix had released in that instant made them tremble from the depths of their hearts.
"A Xiantian expert!" Cries of astonishment rose from the crowd.
So she really was at Xiantian. So strong!
As Tang Yan was marveling inwardly, he suddenly felt a fierce gust rush toward him. Then his body grew light, and a waft of fragrance rushed straight into his nose.
"Forgive the offense!"
