Ch. 221God
Bai Feiyu learned the Notes could bind Immortals who signed their true names, and he discovered that his Dao was to restrain the Immortals and the Daos they represented. He named the bound Immortals gods and himself the Divine Sovereign, then inscribed “God” on the Notes.
- The Artifact Ancestor recognized Xiao Bai as Li Taibai’s reincarnation, signed his true name in the Notes, and entered them.
- Bai Feiyu realized Ou Yezi had prepared the Notes as a contingency for him to use against the Immortals.
- Bai Feiyu concluded that his Dao was to bind Immortals and the Daos behind them rather than simply kill them.
- Bai Feiyu advanced to Out-of-Body Great Perfection and named the restrained Immortals gods, with himself as their Divine Sovereign.
- Bai Feiyu’s Divine Soul wrote the golden character “God” on the Notes’ cover.
