Encountering Dugu Bo

After packing everything he needed, Li Fei set off into Sunset Forest. He had traveled this road many times, so he knew it well. Before long, he reached the depths of the forest and headed toward the area where he had discovered the poisonous mist.

"Actually, this junior came to Sunset Forest to find you, Senior. My purpose was to make a deal with you!" Li Fei said neither humbly nor arrogantly.

"It seems I have indeed seen you in Sunset Forest before!" A look of realization appeared on Dugu Bo's face as he swiftly searched through his memories, though he still sounded uncertain.

Due to both his personality and his poison, Dugu Bo was extremely solitary. He had no choice but to frequently visit the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well to suppress the toxins within his body. Li Fei had often come here over the past year, so naturally, they had seen each other a few times.

"This junior entered the forest many times over the past year to search for you, Senior, but I never encountered you. I had nearly given up hope, yet I never expected us to meet in this manner!" Li Fei said with a smile.

"Who are you?! What deal do you want to make with me?!" Dugu Bo asked.

"This junior is Li Fei, and I could be considered one of Spirit Hall's people..."

Before he could finish, a violent surge of Soul Power crushed Li Fei to the ground. Blood continuously spilled from the corner of his mouth.

Is this the pressure of a Titled Douluo?! It feels as though a mountain is pressing down on me!

Li Fei felt as though he had been pinned beneath a mountain, completely unable to resist. He could not even breathe, and it seemed as if he saw his loved ones from his previous life reaching out to him.

"Spirit Hall still dares to come here? Do you really think I'm afraid of you?!"

Dugu Bo spoke furiously, his voice filled with killing intent. His already violent Soul Power surged again. The cracking of bones rang out repeatedly as blood began to flow from Li Fei's seven orifices. Worse still, Dugu Bo's Soul Power contained the deadly poison of the Jade Phosphorous Serpent Emperor. It entered Li Fei's body, and his consciousness began to blur.

"This junior... can... cure... the poison... in you and your... granddaughter..." With the last trace of clarity he possessed, Li Fei struggled to say those final words before fainting.

The violent Soul Power vanished instantly. Dugu Bo looked at Li Fei with confusion, though the killing intent in his heart did not lessen in the slightest. But when he thought of his six-year-old granddaughter, he reached out, grabbed Li Fei, and rushed into the distant poisonous mist.

After an unknown amount of time, Li Fei regained consciousness. Every part of his body hurt, and even moving was extremely difficult. Fortunately, his Meridians had not been damaged, and he could still use Soul Power.

Fourth Soul Skill: Self-Healing!

Soul Power transformed into surging, pure life force that flowed throughout his body. His broken bones, damaged muscles, and injured internal organs rapidly repaired under the effects of that life force. An indescribable itching sensation spread across his entire body.

Li Fei knew that his wounds were healing, so he gritted his teeth and endured it. Moreover, he could feel waves of medicinal power within his body, which were likewise transforming into life force and repairing his injuries.

Under the effects of the two forces, Li Fei's injuries recovered even faster, while the itching grew increasingly intense. White light began to radiate from his body. Upon closer inspection, several strands of silver light could be seen mixed within the white glow.
