Background / History

Qian Xunji’s Disciple

Qian Xunji accepted the talented Bibi Dong as his disciple. She and Yu Xiaogang fell in love, but Qian Xunji sexually assaulted her and imprisoned her until she gave birth to Qian Renxue. Qian Daoliu later reveals this history to Qian Renxue, explaining the origin of Bibi Dong’s resentment toward her father 113.

Bibi Dong treated Qian Renxue coldly, leaving Qian Daoliu to raise her. Despite that rejection, Qian Renxue continued to long for her mother’s affection 30.

Meeting Li Fei

As Saintess, Bibi Dong summoned Li Fei to discuss his cultivation theories and whether they could help Yu Xiaogang overcome his level twenty-nine bottleneck. She praised Li Fei’s understanding of Meridians but threatened him when he could not guarantee a solution. He escaped the encounter by offering a possible approach 29 30.

Her attachment to Yu Xiaogang continued after this meeting. She later studied his Theory of Soul Master Limit Breakthrough and requested Li Fei’s assessment of its method of exhausting Martial Soul potential to force advancement 78 79.

Becoming Pope

After Tang Hao severely injured Qian Xunji, Bibi Dong personally killed him for revenge and as part of the Rakshasa divine trial. Spirit Hall publicly attributed his death to his wounds 35.

With support from Yue Guan and Ghost Douluo, she became Pope. Within two months, she eliminated infiltrators, suppressed internal dissent outside the Worship Hall, and pressured the Clear Sky Sect into expelling Tang Hao and withdrawing from the world 36.

She ordered Qian Renxue to impersonate Crown Prince Xue Qinghe and seize the Heaven Dou Empire. Before allowing Li Fei to accompany her, Bibi Dong required him to teach seven selected students for a year, including her new disciple Hu Liena. Successful training earned him permission to select a Soul Bone from the treasury 36 44.

Conflict with Qian Renxue and the Body Sect

Bibi Dong increasingly feared that Qian Renxue and Li Fei would outgrow her control. She accelerated her Rakshasa inheritance and exploited Qian Renxue’s absence to seize the Heaven Dou Empire’s Three Vassal Kingdoms. She also considered using Li Fei’s family as leverage, although Qian Daoliu’s protection prevented her from targeting his parents 107 113 115.

When the Blood Essence Martial Path became public, she recognized its potential to overturn the existing balance of power. Although she ordered her own army to learn it, she gathered allied factions to oppose its spread and destroy the Body Sect and Heaven Dou Empire 123.

Qian Daoliu allowed her supporters to leave Spirit City rather than fight an internal war. Bibi Dong established New Spirit Hall in the former Silves Kingdom, while the original organization returned to its Angel identity 123 124.

Li Fan’s captivity drew Li Fei to New Spirit City. Having completed her eighth trial, Bibi Dong attempted to surround him with eight Titled Douluo. During their battle, she credited his flexible approach to Soul Skills with inspiring her own avatar-merging technique 131 132.

Godhood and Expansion

After becoming the Rakshasa God, Bibi Dong fought Li Fei over the sea. Despite her divine skills and evolved avatar, he defeated her, shattered her armor, and broke her scythe. She subsequently opened an Abyss Plane passage and devoured its creatures to repair her body and equipment 135 136 137 138.

She exploited the Abyssal crisis to invade Star Luo. Qian Renxue countered by harassing her forces and supplying weapons to Star Luo, forcing Bibi Dong to divide her attention 139.

Qian Renxue later challenged her directly and nearly destroyed the Rakshasa God Position with Sun True Fire. Blood God intervened and helped Bibi Dong escape. She then killed the Star Luo Emperor, seized his empire, and founded the Spirit Hall Empire; her forces also destroyed the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan 143 144 145.

At Thunder God Island, Bibi Dong killed Yu Xiaogang while attacking Tang San. She subsequently sealed Qian Renxue and gravely wounded Golden Crocodile, Qian Jun, and Jiang Mo. Li Fei arrived and effortlessly broke the seal; a mysterious ink-black shield protected Bibi Dong when he moved against her 147 148.

Defeat and Staged Death

New Spirit City became her final stronghold, protected by a Rakshasa Formation. Li Fei destroyed the formation and captured its leaders, completing the Heaven Dou Empire’s unification of the continent 150.

After marrying Li Fei, Qian Renxue visited the imprisoned Bibi Dong and told her she was happy. Bibi Dong blessed her daughter. Rather than kill her, Li Fei removed the Rakshasa inheritance and arranged for Yue Shen to take her to the Moon Plane. Qian Renxue publicly executed a puppet carrying Bibi Dong’s aura, concealing her mother’s survival 150.

Bibi Dong is authoritarian and ruthless. She insists that no one can defy her, responds to disobedience with overwhelming killing intent, and uses purges and coercion to secure political control. Her intelligence network extends into both the Heaven Dou court and its subordinate kingdoms 36 79 113.

Her ambition is inseparable from her resentment over Qian Xunji’s abuse. Even after taking revenge on him, she refuses to regard the grievance as settled and declares that she will repay her humiliation many times over. She also refuses to let her daughter’s success displace her own ambitions 107 123.

She nevertheless recognizes talent and adapts her methods. She values Li Fei’s theoretical knowledge, invests a Soul Bone in training her future elite, and later applies his ideas about changing and combining Soul Skills 36 132.

Her coldness toward Qian Renxue does not entirely erase her maternal feelings. She stiffens when her daughter threatens to hate her forever, softens when asked to let Li Fei accompany her, and finally offers a blessing after Qian Renxue’s marriage. Once the Rakshasa inheritance is removed, she reflects on her life with tears and profound regret 29 36 150.

Li Fei believes that the Rakshasa inheritance gradually darkens her nature toward domination and selfishness.
