Skywater Academy is one of the Four Elemental Academies and fields water- and ice-oriented Soul Masters. Its students’ tournament performances place it among the continent’s leading academies; during the Continental Advanced Soul Master Elite Tournament, its team reaches the finals with perfect records in both the elimination and promotion rounds. 67 74

Li Fei encounters the academy’s team during the tournament, where he represents Royal Fighting Team alone against all seven members. Captain Lan Ran’s hidden Ring Fusion trump card and fourth Soul Skill, Extreme Ice Bloom, briefly encase him in ice, but the team ultimately concedes after he defeats their members single-handedly. 74 75 76

Following the match, Li Fei tells Lan Ran that her Ice Crystal Martial Soul is better suited to an assault path than the control path she has chosen, because her earlier Soul Skills prioritize freezing opponents without sufficient damage. 76 77

Before the coming war against the Star Luo Empire and New Spirit Hall, Li Fei visits Skywater Academy to obtain its position. The academy’s dean agrees to align with the Heaven Dou Empire, and Li Fei leaves a detailed Blood Essence Martial Path manual for the academy. 127 128
