With a mortal body, defying the transcendent!
"This is why the gods reside in the heavens, while mortals live on the earth."
"What is a mortal? Below the Legendary, all are mortals."
"Before Transcendence, I left three identities of 'God' in the Sacred River Heavenly Land: Creator, Sovereign of Life, and God Above Gods."
"But I didn't leave behind my identity as a 'human being' as well."
Realizing this, the half-asleep, half-awake consciousness smiled.
"I have done what I should have done for 'God,' but I haven't done what I should have done for 'mortals.'"
His senses became clearer and clearer: the unbreakable bond was the countless mortals standing on this earth!
Especially in the Prime Material World, those countless mortals were all influenced by the bloodlines and power he personally created in real history.
Their hearts, their desires, and their longings.
They are the foundation of countless civilizations and kingdoms in the Sacred River Heavenly Land, and also the main body of countless races and civilizations.
"Since that's the case, before Transcendence, let's be mortals for a while and see what mortals need."
Make up your mind.
Jiang Yuu's immense consciousness, large enough to replace the origin of the Sacred River Heavenly Land, transformed into the will of the entire Land of Being. It randomly selected a small corner on the Prime Material World and cast a fragment of its own consciousness there.
The Prime Material World.
Year of Gray Frost.
A year in which the lingering chill of winter has not yet dissipated, and the promise of spring is slow to arrive.
This year.
Because of Jiang Yuu's Transcendence and detachment from the influence of the Land of Being, the energy tides of the Prime Material Plane were more chaotic than in previous years. The cold mist of the North ice plains crossed the Everfrost Mountains and spread southward to the heart of the continent. Even in the height of summer, frost occasionally fell, which is why Historiographer from various countries recorded it as the "Year of Gray Frost."
Central part of the Ouri Continent.
This is the place where Fetrola Divine Mountain and the birthplace of Half-Orc were once located.
Now, however, it belongs to a magical empire that worships the Goddess of Magic Kalisi, namely the Fetrola Magic Empire.
Its heartland, the Feiteluola Region, is a vast and flat area crisscrossed by rivers, making it a central hub for agriculture, commerce, and the transmission of magic.
The Divine Concealment City at the foot of the Divine Mountain is now the capital of the Magic Empire.
In the northern part of the empire, there is a typical border county, Taike County.
The land here is relatively barren, and the climate is cold and damp year-round. The main crops are cold-resistant rye and sorghum. Bauhinia Domain is a medium-sized fiefdom within the county, and its lord is the hereditary Viscount Bauhinia.
The Bauhinia Domain comprises one town and nineteen Knight territories.
The northernmost village of Bauhinia City was the territory of one of the Knight.
In March, before the North Wind had completely subsided.
One bitterly cold morning.
In a dilapidated serf hut in a corner of the village.
Without any blessing ceremony, without any magical blessing, and even a clean swaddling cloth was hard to find, a Human Race baby boy with some Half-Orc features was born amidst the poverty and joy of a serf family.
An uneducated serf man held the child, praising the Goddess of Magic Kalisi, and named the baby boy "Di Er," meaning weed.
Simple and unadorned, easy to remember.
More importantly, that was the name of the serf's father.
This newborn boy Di Er was Jiang Yuu's first incarnation as a mortal.
As the vessel for a wisp of Jiang Yuu's consciousness, Di Er displayed wisdom and Talent beyond that of a serf from a young age.
He possesses Jiang Yuu's memories from before he traveled to the Feland Continent.
but.
In this small village of the Knight's territory.
These are useless.
No one will take extra care of you just because you're smart.
The serfs themselves lived a hard life, let alone their children.
From Di Er's perspective.
Every morning, his serf father and the other male serfs would carry their gleaming wooden plows and shovels, leading the Knight lord's thin oxen, to the lord's fields to cultivate the land without pay.
They had to work from dawn till dusk, with only one chance to eat rye bread in between. Any delay would result in being whipped by the foreman. Occasionally, someone would secretly pray to the holy emblem of Kalisi in their palm, asking the goddess to loosen the frozen soil and grant them fertilizer, but all they received in return was a cold wind whipping frost onto their face.
The mother, along with the other serf women, was responsible for sowing, weeding, tending the vegetable garden, washing clothes, grinding grain, twisting hemp, and feeding livestock for the estate.
In the Year of Gray Frost, the climate was abnormal, and the seeds germinated very slowly. They had to kneel on the cold mud, carefully removing the frozen soil one by one to place the wheat seeds. Their fingertips were so frozen that they cracked and oozed pus, but they dared not stop.
There were almost no elderly serfs.
The older children, unable to work in the fields, were responsible for gathering dead branches, looking after the younger children, repairing farm tools, or cleaning the courtyard of the Knight's manor and feeding the chickens and geese.
In such an environment.
Di Er often went hungry as a child, and when he was five, he looked almost exactly the same as when he was three—thin and small.
When he was six years old, he also started to participate in labor.
But possessing a wisp of Jiang Yuu's consciousness, Di Er naturally could not tolerate the life of a serf.
This is a terrible start.
So, using his own wisdom, at the age of twelve, he tinkered with wood and made something. He then asked the Knight lord to improve farm tools and breeding methods, hoping to improve the treatment of serfs in the process.
Obviously, he was whipped.
The Knight lord didn't care about these things, feeling that Di Er, this little serf, wasn't doing what serfs should do.
If it weren't for his serf father pleading for him, he probably would have been beaten to death.
This encounter infuriated Di Er so much that he almost exploded with anger at the Knight.
Fifteen years old.
Di Er failed to detect any magical Talent in Kalisi's chapel, so he had to continue being a serf.
For an ordinary person, it would have just passed by like that.
But Di Er simply couldn't take it anymore.
He wanted to take his parents away from this awful place, even if it meant going to the mountains to farm the land themselves.
Unfortunately, the parents didn't dare.
To change my life.
He sought out Knight Lord Wo Er to showcase another of his Talent: combat.
He was formed from a wisp of Jiang Yuu's consciousness, and naturally possessed extraordinary Talent.
With just a wooden stick, he was able to contend with and even defeat Knight Knight lord's squires.
Even with Lord Wo Er personally taking to the field, relying on Knight years of combat skills and even his Transcendent abilities, he was still no match for him.
Startled, Wo Er Knight immediately declared that he and his parents had become commoners in the Knight territory.
Di Er left satisfied.
The next day...
A band of magic Knight arrived, and Knight Wo Er accused him of being a heretic and blasted him to death with magic.
His parents died in the first round of magical attacks.
Enraged, Di Er used his unparalleled fighting Talent to seize the sword of Knight Wo Er and kill him. He then used every advantage to accomplish the impossible, wiping out the entire group of low-ranking magic Knight.
Later, Di Er was wanted by the police.
With the magical equipment he had seized, he repeatedly fought off the empire's pursuit.
He ultimately died in battle on a riverbank at the age of twenty-five.
With the body of a mortal, he fought against the extraordinary. The name of the mortal swordsman Dill was known throughout the continent. Even the devils of hell had heard of him, but unfortunately, they could not find his soul.
This also sparked a trend of valuing skills and craftsmanship in various countries.
When the memories of Di Er's death came back to him, even Jiang Yuu's enormous consciousness frowned slightly.
He sighed and inscribed it in the very origin of the Sacred River Heavenly Land.
"Among the serfs and countless other ordinary people, from among billions, one will surely emerge to become the protagonist of the world and change everything."
With this decree inscribed, many of the bonds binding Jiang Yuu were instantly severed.
After his life as a mortal serf came to an end, he was reborn again with a wisp of consciousness into a commoner family.
