Ch. 1042The decisive battle that would determine the fate of the Multiverse

Jiang Yuu led the Eastern Region army into the decisive battle against the Jun Court, inspiring his forces and confronting its strongest Supremes. The Empress of the Jun Court challenged him to decide who would become the future Celestial Emperor, and Jiang Yuu opened the fight with Champion's Will.

  • The nine hundred Eastern Region Supremes and their soldiers rallied to Jiang Yuu's call and charged forward despite being outnumbered.
  • Lucifer raised the Blazing Heaven Holy Banner, strengthening the Eastern Region army, and Jiang Yuu ordered her to stay close and keep the banner from falling.
  • Jiang Yuu stepped through Nothingness and disrupted the Jun Court Supremes' formation with his imperial presence.
  • Jiang Yuu faced the Empress of the Jun Court, Supreme Jun, and the other Forbidden Supremes, while the Empress challenged him to prove who was the future Celestial Emperor.
  • Jiang Yuu raised his Platinum Longsword and unleashed Champion's Will.

Ch. 1043Who Could Face Him?

Jiang Yuu unleashed a devastating sword attack on the Jun Court’s strongest Supremes, then broke through their formation and led the Eastern Region forces into a charge. The Jun Court’s ranks began to collapse as one Supreme fled in terror.

  • Jiang Yuu struck the eleven Forbidden Supremes with a sword attack he had nurtured over a thousand years, and Supreme Jun urged them to withstand it.
  • Jiang Yuu summoned the Sword Tomb of Myriad Armies, the White Gold Sun, and ten Radiant Projections to attack the eleven Supremes.
  • Five Forbidden Supremes were swept away and three were badly injured, while the Empress of the Jun Court, Supreme Jun, and Supreme Heng Cang continued fighting the projections.
  • Jiang Yuu entered the formation of two thousand three hundred Jun Court Supremes and cut down or wounded those in his path.
  • Lucifer rallied more than nine hundred Eastern Region Supremes and the immortals and gods of Mountains and Seas to follow the Blazing Heaven Holy Banner into the Jun Court’s disordered ranks.
  • A Jun Court Supreme who feared he could not survive Jiang Yuu’s sword turned and fled.

Ch. 1044Breaking through

Jiang Yuu’s charge shattered the Jun Court Supremes’ morale, turning the battle into a rout as Eastern Region forces advanced. He left Supreme Tu in command of the battlefield and returned to fight Supreme Jun, the Empress of the Jun Court, and their strongest fighters.

  • Supreme Yunlang fled, prompting other Jun Court Supremes to retreat and leaving the way clear for Jiang Yuu and the Eastern Region Supremes.
  • Jiang Yuu rallied his forces and charged again, scattering the Jun Court Supremes who were trying to restore their formation.
  • Most Jun Court Supremes and legions fled, leaving a little over eight hundred core-force Supremes on the battlefield as the armies below Supreme level began fighting.
  • Jiang Yuu entrusted command of the Eastern Region forces to Supreme Tu and went to confront the Jun Court’s strongest fighters.
  • Jiang Yuu arrived as the Jun Court’s upper-limit Supremes were reinforcing Supreme Jun and the Empress of the Jun Court, and he resumed battle with them.

Ch. 1045New King of the Mirror Sea

Jiang Yuu gained the upper hand against the Jun Court’s strongest fighters as the war with the Eastern Region dragged on, while the new king of the Mirror Sea expanded into the Western Region. By the seventh millennium, he had united both regions and emerged as the third great power.

  • The Empress of the Jun Court and Supreme Jun recognized that defeating Yuliel was essential to saving their cause, but Jiang Yuu held his own against them and the Jun Court’s strongest fighters.
  • Over the first three millennia, Jiang Yuu learned the Jun Court leaders’ methods and began suppressing them, while observers from other regions watched the war and the Mirror Sea’s new king began conquering the Western Region.
  • Jiang Yuu broke through in his use of conceptual-level power, disrupting the Jun Court leaders at critical moments and leaving Supreme Jun and Luan shaken by his strength.
  • In the fourth millennium, Jiang Yuu killed two of the Jun Court’s original Five Elders after they tried to flee, and Supreme Jun’s forces refused to save them.
  • By the seventh millennium, the new king had conquered the Western Region, united it with the Mirror Sea, and commanded six hundred Supremes as the Bright King of the Mirror Sea.

Ch. 1046A Wunuo

Ming Laite, the Bright King of the Mirror Sea, visited A Wunuo in the Northern Domain to recruit him and gain an advantage over his rivals. A Wunuo refused to receive him, so Elder Mirror revealed itself as the Celestial Emperor Mirror, drawing the attention of a mysterious middle-aged man.

  • The Mirror Sea army invaded the Northern Domain, but the Frost Council and the Biting Wind Shrine united and easily repelled it while Ming Laite was away.
  • Ming Laite and Elder Mirror found A Wunuo’s hidden residence and revealed that the apparent small universe concealed a vast great universe.
  • Elder Mirror urged Ming Laite to win A Wunuo’s approval so he could defeat the two traitors and restore Celestial Emperor Mu’s glory.
  • Ming Laite requested an audience with A Wunuo, but a cool voice refused him.
  • Elder Mirror flew from Ming Laite’s hand and pierced the universe’s disguise, revealing a middle-aged man who recognized it as the Celestial Emperor Mirror.

Ch. 1047Phoenix

Ming Laite and the Celestial Emperor Mirror visited A Wunuo to ask him to help restore the Holy Court, but A Wunuo warned that the Central Region’s war was nearing its end and recalled a prophecy naming Yuliel as the Celestial Emperor’s successor. After Ming Laite revealed himself as a Temporal Undying Bird, he urged A Wunuo to help him claim the position and unite the Multiverse’s nonhuman races.

  • A Wunuo welcomed Ming Laite and the Celestial Emperor Mirror into his small universe and kept his unusual cultivation environment secret.
  • Ming Laite asked A Wunuo to leave seclusion and help defeat the rebels, rebuild the Holy Court, and restore the Celestial Emperor’s glory.
  • A Wunuo warned that Yuliel was close to defeating the Jun Court and establishing a new order, while Ming Laite argued that the exhausted factions could still be defeated.
  • A Wunuo cited a prophecy that the Celestial Emperor’s successor would be the Lord of Radiance, the Winged God.
  • Ming Laite revealed his true form as a Temporal Undying Bird, and A Wunuo acknowledged that he fit the prophecy but doubted a nonhuman could become Celestial Emperor.
  • The Celestial Emperor Mirror reminded A Wunuo that the law of humanity had shattered and that A Wunuo himself was not human, while Ming Laite proposed uniting all nonhuman races if he became Celestial Emperor.

Ch. 1048Why Not Call a Temporary Truce?

Ming Laite persuaded A Wunuo to join the Mirror Court by promising a future in which alien races could unite and thrive. The Mirror Sea then withdrew from the Northern Domain to race toward the exhausted Central Region battlefield, where Supreme Jun proposed a temporary truce to Yuliel.

  • Ming Laite argued that he could unite the alien races and inscribe their law into the Multiverse, and A Wunuo agreed to join him despite suspecting that Ming Laite chiefly wanted his combat strength.
  • Ming Laite offered to share supreme authority with A Wunuo and the Celestial Emperor Mirror, which took the form of a middle-aged man.
  • The Celestial Emperor Mirror urged Ming Laite to abandon plans to conquer the Northern Domain and march to the Central Region battlefield before the Jun Court and Eastern Paradise Mountain finished fighting.
  • Ming Laite agreed, and A Wunuo sealed his small universe and followed the Mirror Sea army as it withdrew from the Northern Domain.
  • After eight millennia of fighting left both sides exhausted and wounded, Supreme Jun asked Yuliel to call a temporary truce.

Ch. 1049Concept: Equilibrium!

As Jiang Yuu rejected Supreme Jun’s plea for peace and unleashed his strongest sword strike, Supreme Jun invoked the Concept Equilibrium to equalize the strength of everyone present. The chapter ended just as the battlefield’s power balance changed.

  • Jiang Yuu refused to reconcile with Supreme Jun, insisting that the Jun Court and Paradise Mountain had to fight until one side won or fell.
  • The battered armies suffered heavy losses, including Wolpis, Raguel, and Remiel, while more than three hundred Jun Court Supremes had died.
  • Jiang Yuu declared that he would give everything to end the war and unleashed a sword strike stronger than his earlier attacks.
  • As the Jun Court’s fighters struggled against Jiang Yuu’s sword, Supreme Jun stepped forward and vowed that the Jun Court would not end.
  • Supreme Jun invoked the Concept Equilibrium, equalizing the strength of everyone present just before Jiang Yuu’s sword light fell.

Ch. 1050Countermeasures!

Supreme Jun’s Power of Concepts equalized strength across the Multiverse, but A Wunuo and the Celestial Emperor Mirror concluded that Jun could sustain it only briefly and that Yuliel would counter it. As the Mirror Court’s leaders discussed the war and the possible future Celestial Emperors, a new Power of Concepts spread from the Central Region battlefield.

  • Supreme Jun unleashed a Power of Concepts that equalized the strength of living beings across the Multiverse, disrupting battles and overturning outcomes in distant universes.
  • The Conceptual Level power swept through the Mirror Court’s advancing army, startling the Celestial Emperor Mirror, Ming Laite, and A Wunuo.
  • A Wunuo identified the power as a limited form of equilibrium associated with Jun and said Yuliel had appeared in his prophecy, though he was not necessarily destined to become Celestial Emperor.
  • The Celestial Emperor Mirror warned that Jun was close to defeat, explaining that the power could not last long and that Yuliel could counter it.
  • A new Power of Concepts thundered outward from the Central Region battlefield.

Ch. 1051Concept: Holy Judgment!

Jiang Yuu proclaimed the concept of Holy Judgment, whose power spread across the Multiverse and overwhelmed Supreme Jun’s concept of equilibrium. As allies and rivals reacted to his ascension, Jiang Yuu reached Supreme Jun on the Central Region battlefield.

  • Jiang Yuu forged the concept of Holy Judgment and declared that those who brought chaos would face judgment.
  • A Wunuo and the Celestial Emperor Mirror were shocked by how close Jiang Yuu had come to the Celestial Emperor’s realm, while Ming Laite looked forward to fighting him.
  • Seraphina heard Jiang Yuu’s divine voice in the Divine Ruins and prostrated herself before him.
  • Michael invoked Holy Judgment to frighten the Returning Wilderness Supremes, who agreed to submit to him and Eastern Paradise Mountain.
  • Annatania heard Jiang Yuu’s proclamation from Paradise Mountain and recognized the power of concepts.
  • Jiang Yuu arrived before Supreme Jun, and Holy Judgment suppressed Supreme Jun’s concept of equilibrium.

Ch. 1052Jun Dies!

Jiang Yuu defeated Supreme Jun and offered him a choice between surrender and death. Supreme Jun refused to submit, and Jiang Yuu killed him, leaving the fate of the Jun Court and Empress Luan to be decided.

  • After losing the clash of concepts, Supreme Jun accepted defeat and prepared to die by Jiang Yuu's sword.
  • Empress Luan called on the Jun Court's Supremes to rescue her father, but they refused to move, so she went to him alone.
  • Jiang Yuu offered Supreme Jun authority in Eastern Paradise Mountain if he submitted, or death if he refused.
  • Supreme Jun rejected submission, explained that he had raised an army to unite the Multiverse, and asked Jiang Yuu to protect his daughter and make proper arrangements for the Central Region's Supremes.
  • Jiang Yuu respected Supreme Jun's choice and killed him, annihilating his body, soul, true spirit, and existence across time.

Ch. 1053Bowing in allegiance

After Supreme Jun fell to Jiang Yuu, Empress Luan rushed to avenge him but was defeated and spared so she could bury her father. Jiang Yuu demanded that the remaining Jun Court forces submit or die, and Supreme Heng Cang led them in bowing allegiance to Paradise Mountain.

  • Jun's life flashed before his death, from his years as a reforming minister to his rise as a Supreme and the founding of the Jun Court.
  • Empress Luan charged at Jiang Yuu in grief and fury, but he knocked her out of her Tricolored Divine Luan form and spared her so she could collect and bury Jun's body.
  • Jiang Yuu planted his sword in Nothingness and ordered the Jun Court remnants to submit to him or die.
  • Supreme Heng Cang, who had fought Jiang Yuu, was the first to bow and offer service to Paradise Mountain.
  • The Jun Court Supremes and transcendent legions followed Heng Cang and knelt in allegiance to Jiang Yuu.

Ch. 1054Taking Control of the Central Region

After defeating the Jun Court, Jiang Yuu accepted its surviving forces into Eastern Paradise Mountain and set plans to consolidate control of the Central Region. He ended the chapter leading both factions toward their next task: claiming the region.

  • Jiang Yuu pardoned the Jun Court’s surviving forces and accepted their allegiance to Eastern Paradise Mountain.
  • Jiang Yuu assigned Anwyn and Gael to arrange burials and inheritances for fallen Eastern Region fighters and to return their remains home.
  • Jiang Yuu appointed Lucifer to return fallen Jun Court Supremes to their universes and select Quasi-Supremes to assist her.
  • Jiang Yuu organized the Jun Court and Eastern Paradise Mountain forces into separate formations and declared that they would take control of the Central Region.

Ch. 1055Radiant Universe

After defeating the Jun Court, Jiang Yuu led the Eastern Region’s forces on a five-hundred-year journey to the Radiant Universe, while celebrations and preparations for governing the Central Region unfolded elsewhere. The chapter ends with Jiang Yuu and the combined armies arriving at the Multiverse’s center.

  • The Eastern Region’s armies celebrated victory as Jiang Yuu’s forces prepared to take command of the Central Region, while Lucifer, Anwyn, Gael, and others remained to clear the battlefield.
  • The Multiverse’s chronicle recorded Jiang Yuu’s victory over the Jun Court, the death of Supreme Jun, and the Empress’s imprisonment.
  • Annatania mourned Wolpis, whose death in battle between Supremes had erased every trace of him across space and time, then resumed her duties after seven days.
  • Annatania and the other leaders considered moving the Original Universe, its neighboring universes, and Paradise Mountain back to the Central Region.
  • Michael shared news of the victory with the Returning Wilderness and told its lords they would have to wait before visiting Jiang Yuu.
  • Five hundred years after setting out, Jiang Yuu and the Eastern Region’s forces, joined by Jun Court survivors, arrived at the Radiant Universe.

Ch. 1056Brilliant radiance, mighty sacred wind

Jiang Yuu and the Supremes entered the pyramid-shaped Radiant Universe, where they learned how Celestial Emperor Mu had built it into the Holy Court’s stronghold and the Multiverse’s barrier against true nothingness. Jiang Yuu reached the former Holy Court, now the Jun Court, and saw the Celestial Emperor’s throne.

  • Jiang Yuu and the others admired the Radiant Universe’s immense pyramid shape and the lingering traces of Celestial Emperor Mu.
  • Supreme Heng Cang explained that the Celestial Emperor expanded the Radiant Universe to house the Holy Court and guard the passage to true nothingness.
  • Livier described how the Holy Court accommodated the three thousand Holy Kings and how the Radiant Universe sealed off all but one passage into the Multiverse.
  • Supreme Heng Cang praised Jiang Yuu as a future ruler, and the gathered Supremes bowed and hailed his coming reign.
  • Jiang Yuu led the Supremes into the Radiant Universe and surveyed the vast Jun Court, where he recognized the Celestial Emperor’s throne.

Ch. 1057A conversation across time and space

Jiang Yuu triggered an ancient vision from the Celestial Emperor's Throne, revealing why the Holy Court Celestial Emperor chose Jiang Shiluo as his heir apparent. The vision ended after the Celestial Emperor identified Jiang Yuu as a future Celestial Emperor walking toward him.

  • Jiang Yuu touched the Celestial Emperor's Throne, causing it to flare with light and summon a projection of the Holy Court Celestial Emperor.
  • The projection spoke with the young Jiang Shiluo, who said he did not know why he had been chosen as heir apparent.
  • The Celestial Emperor explained that he had established an heir to prevent turmoil after his eventual death, then asked Jiang Shiluo whether he still wanted to know why he had chosen him.
  • The Celestial Emperor turned toward Jiang Yuu and said he had seen a future Celestial Emperor shining in Jiang Shiluo's future.
  • Jiang Shiluo realized the future Celestial Emperor was not himself and accepted that he might be one of that ruler's origins.
  • The Celestial Emperor praised Jiang Shiluo, then the vision vanished and the throne returned to normal.

Ch. 1058Your Majesty, Please Ascend to Celestial Emperor Status!

Jiang Yuu reflected on the Celestial Emperor’s appearance and the mystery of his death while the Supremes celebrated the recognition of Jiang Yuu as his successor. Supreme Heng Cang then urged Jiang Yuu to ascend to Celestial Emperor Status.

  • Jiang Yuu wondered why the Celestial Emperor had not avoided his death and whether he and the Crystal Emperor had truly perished together.
  • The Supremes interpreted the Celestial Emperor’s words as recognition of Jiang Yuu’s rightful rule over the Multiverse.
  • Supreme Heng Cang and Supreme Tu privately discussed a plan, agreeing that Heng Cang would speak first and Tu would support him.
  • Heng Cang recounted Jiang Yuu’s conquests and declared that he was already the Multiverse’s de facto ruler.
  • Heng Cang called on Jiang Yuu to ascend to Celestial Emperor Status for the peace and hopes of the Multiverse.

Ch. 1059Giving Paradise Mountain its proper name!

After the Supremes and people across the Radiant Universe urged Jiang Yuu to claim the Celestial Emperor’s title, he refused until he reached the Celestial Emperor Realm and conquered all Ten Domains. He said Eastern Paradise Mountain’s name no longer suited its expanding rule, leaving its new name to be announced.

  • Supreme Heng Cang proposed that Jiang Yuu assume Celestial Emperor Status, and Supreme Tu backed him, praising Jiang Yuu’s strength and urging him to unite the Multiverse.
  • The Supremes, Eastern Paradise Mountain’s forces, the Angels, and people across the Radiant Universe called on Jiang Yuu to become Celestial Emperor.
  • Empress Luan heard the cries from her prison and wondered whether she would have to submit to Yuliel’s rule.
  • Jiang Yuu refused the title for now, saying he had not reached the Celestial Emperor Realm and would first conquer the remaining seven regions.
  • Jiang Yuu said he wanted to rule the Multiverse openly and honorably, then noted that the name Eastern Paradise Mountain no longer suited the group’s ambitions.

Ch. 1060Holy Court deliberations, Holy Paradise Mountain!
