Ch. 1261The first day

Jiang Yuu began creating his Land of Being, choosing energy as its first order and light as the means of creation. He formed a primordial heaven and earth, established spacetime and matter, and left the world on its first day.

  • Jiang Yuu became the Land of Chaos itself and decided that he could no longer leave it.
  • Jiang Yuu chose energy as the first order of creation and light as the way to bring the world into being.
  • Jiang Yuu proclaimed that the world be born in light, and chaos became energy that formed a primordial heaven and earth.
  • Jiang Yuu brought out the Heavenly Land, which merged with the primordial rhythm to shape the embryonic world.
  • Jiang Yuu established spacetime, causing time to flow and the world's first day to begin.
  • Jiang Yuu called matter into being, and mountains, rivers, oceans, and other natural features appeared.

Ch. 1262The Two Sides of the Land

Jiang Yuu completed the ring-shaped Heavenly Land World and established its order, including the laws that governed its features and the flow of water between its front and back. He created the sun and moon and divided the world into day, night, and the firmament, then began creating stars to surround them.

  • Jiang Yuu completed the desolate ring-shaped Heavenly Land World, with oceans and land on its front and back.
  • Jiang Yuu established the world's principles, rules, and laws, and formed the Great River of Mist to carry seawater between the two sides.
  • Jiang Yuu gathered the world's light into two balls, and the resulting darkness gave rise to the law of darkness.
  • Jiang Yuu made the larger ball the sun, which rose in the east and set in the west and brought light to the front of the world.
  • Jiang Yuu placed the smaller ball as the moon west of the sun, established its west-to-east course, and created day, night, and the firmament.
  • Jiang Yuu declared that stars would appear to surround and guard the sun and moon.

Ch. 1263The First Era, the Wild Era

Jiang Yuu completed the laws and natural cycles of the Heavenly Land World, then created its first living beings from soil and seawater. He named them the Wild Giants and declared that the Wild Era had begun.

  • Jiang Yuu created the Sun, Moon, stars, four seasons, and countless natural laws to complete the world.
  • Jiang Yuu chose a broad coast surrounded by mountains as the place where life would first appear.
  • Jiang Yuu shaped earthen figures in his image and declared that the Order of Life would begin with soil, earth, and seawater.
  • The earthen giants transformed into beings of flesh and blood as earth and ocean laws collided.
  • Jiang Yuu divided the Fire Seed among the giants, granted them spirit, and watched them cry out as the first living beings.
  • Jiang Yuu named the beings the Wild Giants and their era the Wild Era.

Ch. 1264Two Commandments

Jiang Yuu created the Wild Giants, granting them immense abilities and the freedom to live as they wished while asking them to find and pray over flaws in the world. He then imposed two commandments forbidding them from touching the Fire Seed of creation or leaving the world, before vanishing and leaving them to begin their lives.

  • Jiang Yuu named the age the Wild Era and declared the newborn beings to be the Wild Giants, who thanked him as their Creator and Monarch of Light.
  • Jiang Yuu explained that the Wild Giants were favored by the world's laws and would rule as long as they retained his favor.
  • Jiang Yuu called the Wild Giants his first children and granted them powerful bodies, immortal lives, and the ability to survive anywhere.
  • Jiang Yuu invited the Wild Giants to explore freely and asked them to find flaws in the world and pray for their remedy in return for the laws connected to those flaws.
  • Jiang Yuu commanded the Wild Giants not to touch the Fire Seed of creation or leave the world, warning that anyone who left would never return.
  • Jiang Yuu vanished, and the Wild Giants began their primitive existence across the land.

Ch. 1265Five Giants

Most Wild Giants lived carefree lives and forgot the Creator’s task, while five set out to find flaws in the world. Jiang Yuu gave the first four Wild Giants laws tied to the places they found, and appeared just as the fifth tried to leave the world.

  • The Wild Giants spent their days playing and sleeping, producing law-infused crystals and giving rise to emotional laws of play and joy.
  • Five Wild Giants left their community to search for flaws in the world and fulfill the Creator’s task.
  • The first Wild Giant found a coast eroded by the tides, and Jiang Yuu gave her the law of tides when he refused to mend it.
  • The second Wild Giant found a barren desert, and Jiang Yuu gave him the law of the desert instead of filling it with water.
  • The third Wild Giant explored the Dark Continent, refused to live there, and received the law of shadows rather than the law of darkness.
  • The fourth Wild Giant fell into a volcano and asked Jiang Yuu to remove its flames, so Jiang Yuu sentenced him to remain there; the fifth climbed the tallest mountain and tried to fly beyond the sky, but Jiang Yuu appeared.

Ch. 1266Blood-Colored Meteor Mitier

Jiang Yuu punished Mitier for breaking the Creator’s commandment by turning him into an eternal blood-colored meteor, then warned the Wild Giants that breaking both commandments would end their age. Meanwhile, An Bi decided to seek the power to become king and asked Geruidi to join him.

  • Jiang Yuu turned Mitier into a blood-colored meteor that would wander the stars forever and witness the fate of the Wild Giants.
  • Jiang Yuu warned the Wild Giants that their age would end if they broke both commandments.
  • An Bi reflected on his people’s refusal to follow his ideas and concluded that only greater strength could make them listen.
  • Geruidi apologized for fighting An Bi, and An Bi admitted that he had been wrong to challenge him.
  • An Bi told Geruidi that he wanted to become king and asked him to help find the power to become the strongest Wild Giant.

Ch. 1267The Greedy Devour Fire

An Bi and Geruidi searched the deep sea for countless years until they found the Commandment Fireseed in a gigantic underwater volcano. As An Bi reached for it, Geruidi seized and swallowed it, claiming the Creator’s power for himself.

  • An Bi persuaded Geruidi to search the deep sea with him for the Fire Seed, and the pair left their sleeping companions.
  • An Bi and Geruidi searched for years, refused Tyrande’s offer to help, and eventually began investigating underwater volcanoes.
  • An Bi and Geruidi continued their search for countless years, traveling as far as the edge of the Inner Ring Sea.
  • An Bi and Geruidi found the Commandment Fireseed inside an enormous underwater volcano, and Geruidi remembered the Creator’s warning not to touch it.
  • An Bi dismissed Geruidi’s warning and reached for the Fireseed, but Geruidi took it first and swallowed it, declaring the Creator’s power his.

Ch. 1268The Wild Giants Fell, and All Things Came to Life

After Geruidi swallowed the Fire Seed, he used its power to create primordial jellyfish and overpowered An Bi, but the Creator arrived and judged both Wild Giants. Geruidi was transformed into the Deep-Sea Troll Greedis, while An Bi fled the Creator’s punishment.

  • Geruidi used the Fire Seed’s power to create intelligent primordial jellyfish, while An Bi accused him of stealing the power he had sought.
  • An Bi attacked Geruidi and gained the Law of Slaughter, but Geruidi crushed the law and forced him to his knees.
  • Geruidi prepared to kill An Bi before returning to the Wild Giant tribe, but Jiang Yuu appeared and condemned their actions.
  • Jiang Yuu burned Geruidi’s body, whose remains became sea creatures and plants, and turned his remnant soul into the Deep-Sea Troll Greedis.
  • Jiang Yuu erased the primordial jellyfish’s intelligence, while An Bi fled the deep sea to escape judgment.

Ch. 1269Condemnation

An Bi fled after touching the Fire Seed, but its flames spread through him and reached the Wild Giants around him. The Creator appeared, condemned the Giants for breaking his commandments and wasting their gifts, and withdrew his favor as they transformed into plants and beasts.

  • An Bi's hands caught fire after he touched the Fire Seed, and the flames spread despite his efforts to flee and break off his hands.
  • An Bi's burning body turned into stones and bewildered humanoid creatures, while the Fire Seed's power spread to other Wild Giants; he collapsed in despair.
  • The Creator appeared as the Wild Giants prayed for An Bi and those tainted by the flames, then rebuked them and recalled Mitier's, Geruidi's, and An Bi's violations of his commandments.
  • The Creator condemned the Wild Giants for idling, creating nothing, and failing to reproduce, then declared that they had lost his favor and must atone forever.
  • The world's laws turned hostile: tainted Wild Giants burned and became plants and microorganisms, while the remaining Giants fell and became unintelligent wild beasts.

Ch. 1270Era of Beginnings

After the Wild Giants perished, Jiang Yuu named the two races born from An Bi’s remains and established rules for them, beginning the Era of Beginnings. A few Wild Giants survived the disaster, and Gutel realized he might lead his sheltered people away to the Dark Continent.

  • An Bi poured his blood over some of the newborn people, transforming them into a larger, brass-skinned race before dying and becoming the Anbis Mountains.
  • Jiang Yuu named the brass-skinned Jia'en Giant Race and the crimson-skinned Morgan Race, gave the Morgan Race the Blood of Greed, and forbade both races from crossing the world’s boundaries or touching the Fire Seed.
  • Jiang Yuu recorded the Wild Giants’ extinction and the birth of the two races as the start of the Era of Beginnings.
  • Tide Tailunde mourned the dead Wild Giants as she wandered the shore, while Disesi sank into the desert sands and other surviving giants remained in their respective domains.
  • Gutel used his shadow powers to shelter a small group of Wild Giants from the disaster and concluded that he should lead them away from the continent toward the Dark Continent.

Ch. 1271Shadow Kingdom

Gutel hid the surviving Wild Giants beneath a shadow-shrouded island in the Dark Inner Ring Sea and created Blaishek, a serpent with eyes that could see in darkness. He sent Blaishek to bring a piece of the Sun to the Dark Continent, though Blaishek had never seen the Sun.

  • Gutel led the Wild Giants into the deep sea, but they could not endure the darkness and two left the shadows, where the world's malice and the Fire Seed transformed them into creatures.
  • Gutel put the remaining Wild Giants to sleep and settled them beneath a shadow-shrouded island, creating the Shadow Kingdom.
  • Gutel broke off his little finger and placed it outside the shadows, where it transformed into a giant serpent named Blaishek.
  • Gutel explained that Blaishek could see in darkness because Gutel had preserved his eyes with the power of shadows.
  • Gutel ordered Blaishek to bite off a piece of the Sun above the Continent of Radiance and hang it over the Dark Continent as a source of light.

Ch. 1272The Tides Will Help You

Gutel sent Braiduk the Dark Serpent to the Continent of Radiance to bring light to the Land of Darkness. After reaching the illuminated sea and mistaking the moon for the Sun, Braiduk met a female Giant who recognized Gutel and offered to help him reach the sky.

  • Braiduk promised Gutel he would remember the description of the Sun and set out from the Shadow Kingdom toward the Continent of Radiance.
  • After traveling for several decades, Braiduk reached the Sea of Mist and cautiously crossed to the illuminated side of the world.
  • Braiduk saw the moon and stars for the first time and tried to leap into the sky so he could bring part of the moon back to the Dark Continent.
  • A female Giant recognized Gutel's presence in Braiduk, learned that Gutel and the other Wild Giants were alive, and offered to help.
  • Braiduk explained that Gutel had told him to bite off part of the moon, and the female Giant told him the tides would help him leap toward the sky.

Ch. 1273The Dragon That Gnawed at the Moon

Braiduk rode Tyrande’s tidal wave to the moon, bit off and swallowed a fragment, and became known to the people below as the Black Dragon. Tyrande sent him toward the Dark Continent, then remained behind to face the Creator, who asked whether she acknowledged her guilt.

  • Tyrande raised Braiduk on a towering wave until he reached the moon, where he bit off a large fragment and swallowed it.
  • The Gaen Giants and Morgan People watched in awe, called Braiduk a Black Dragon, and one Morgan Person carved the scene into a mountain wall.
  • Tyrande hurled Braiduk toward the edge of the Inner Ring Sea and told him to hurry to the Dark Continent because the Creator might punish them.
  • The spiritual orb within the moon cried out after losing part of its spirituality and vowed to remember the aura of tides.
  • Tyrande waited by the shore, and the Creator arrived and asked whether she acknowledged her guilt.

Ch. 1274Judgment

Jiang Yuu judged Tyrande for altering the moon and tides, sparing her kin while imposing four punishments. Meanwhile, Braiduk reached the Isle of Shadows with a fragment of the Sun and woke Gutel, who realized the serpent had succeeded.

  • Tyrande confessed to helping the Dark Serpent damage the moon and to unleashing tides that disrupted the world, and she asked Jiang Yuu to spare her kin.
  • Jiang Yuu spared the Wild Giants who fled to the Dark Continent and refused to reclaim the damaged portion of the moon.
  • Jiang Yuu ordered Tyrande to drive the tides toward the full moon, remain in the shallow sea except during full moons, compensate the future moon goddess, and kneel for ten thousand years; Tyrande accepted.
  • Jiang Yuu watched Braiduk flee across the sea toward the Isle of Shadows and wondered how far the serpent would go.
  • Braiduk reached the Isle of Shadows and bit Gutel to wake him, then announced that he had brought back a fragment of the Sun.
  • Gutel woke, saw Braiduk's glowing, bulging body, and realized that the serpent had succeeded.

Ch. 1275Raising the Moon

Braiduk returned to the Dark Continent with a fragment of the moon, which Gutel praised and sent him to hang in the sky. The fragment gave off too little light to illuminate the continent, and the Creator appeared to confront Gutel about Braiduk’s crime.

  • Braiduk told Gutel how Tyrande’s tidal wave had helped him reach the heavens, and he spat out the luminous fragment he had bitten from the moon.
  • Gutel reassured Braiduk that bringing back the moon fragment was an achievement and worried that Tyrande would face the Creator’s punishment for helping him.
  • After Braiduk revealed that he had felt the Creator’s gaze following him, Gutel threw him into the sky with the fragment.
  • Braiduk suspended the moon fragment in the heavens, but its dim light could not illuminate the Dark Continent.
  • The Creator appeared before Gutel and Braiduk and asked Gutel whether he acknowledged his crime of allowing Braiduk to bite the moon.

Ch. 1276The dark side's blood moon

Jiang Yuu gave Gutel a choice between undoing the Shadow Kingdom and sacrificing his life to save his kin and create light for the Dark Continent. Gutel chose sacrifice, and the blood moon appeared as new creatures emerged from his corpse.

  • Jiang Yuu condemned Gutel for damaging the moon and disrupting the world's laws, then offered him two choices for punishment.
  • Gutel chose to give his life so the fleeing Wild Giants, Braiduk, and the Dark Continent could be spared and illuminated.
  • Gutel tore out his heart and offered it with his blood to Jiang Yuu, who promised his soul would be reborn in his corpse.
  • Jiang Yuu used Gutel's heart and blood to transform the moon fragment into a blood moon that brought dim light and new laws to the Dark Continent.
  • As the blood moon's light fell on Gutel's corpse, enormous winged, horned creatures crawled out of it.

Ch. 1277Shadow Dragon

Gutel was resurrected as the founder of a new race, while Braiduk inherited the Law of Shadows and became ruler of the Shadow Kingdom. Years later, the Jia'en Giant Race and the Morgan Race lived together on the Land of Radiance, but their relationship had changed over time.

  • Gutel's remains birthed the Gute Race, and Gutel thanked the Creator and vowed that his clan would guard the Blood Moon.
  • The Blood Moon's power bonded with the new race, and a spark of sentience began to gestate within the moon.
  • Braiduk inherited Gutel's authority over the Law of Shadows and became the Shadow Serpent, though he preferred the name Shadow Dragon.
  • Gutel explained that his resurrection had severed him from his former life, entrusted Braiduk with the Shadow Kingdom and the sleeping Wild Giants, then led the Gute Race to the Dark Continent.
  • Braiduk watched Gutel depart and thought about becoming ruler of the kingdom at only two years old, while envying the Gute Race's wings.
  • Thousands of years later, the Jia'en Giant Race and the Morgan Race lived at the foot of the Anbis Mountains, but their former closeness had changed because of their differences in strength and size.

Ch. 1278The rise of the Morgan People

The Morgan People rose against the Gaen Giants after centuries of enslavement, beginning a thousand-year war that drove them from the Anbis Mountains. A migrating group developed the Demonic Sacrifice Art and Blood Sacrifice Art to gain power, while the Gaen Giants studied the laws and created the Path of the Giant God.

  • The Gaen Giants enslaved and exploited the Morgan People, who preserved their shared origins as kin born from An Bi.
  • Apas led Morgan People in killing a sleeping Gaen Giant and called on them to resist and establish their own nation.
  • The Morgan People began a thousand-year war, initially winning with surprise attacks before the Gaen Giants defeated them and forced them to flee the Anbis Mountains.
  • One migrant group developed the Demonic Sacrifice Art by infusing body parts with the power of laws, while another gained power through blood sacrifices to Mitier and Greedis.
  • Jiang Yuu watched the Morgan People grow stronger and retaliate, driving the Gaen Giants from the Anbis Mountains.
  • The Gaen Giants studied the laws at the Tyrande Coast and developed the Path of the Giant God.

Ch. 1279Gaen Runes

Aismart created Gaen runes and the Path of the Titan, transforming the Gaen Giants into the powerful Titan Race, which drove the Morgan People from their ancestral lands. As Apas led the last Morgan survivors to the edge of the world, he urged them to cross the great waterfall toward the Dark Continent.

  • Aismart inscribed the Path of the Titan in Gaen Script and created runes that could channel the power of the laws.
  • Aismart’s followers grew into the Titan Race, reclaimed the Anbis Mountains, and defeated Apas and the Morgan People.
  • Aismart, now King of Titan, ordered the Titans to pursue the Morgan People, reducing their population through years of slaughter.
  • Apas led the remaining Morgan People out to sea; his son Nupas stayed with part of the group on a distant island while Apas sailed onward.
  • At the edge of the Heavenly Land, Apas urged his frightened people to cross the falling sea and seek safety on the Dark Continent.

Ch. 1280Arrival and the Blood Moon mutations

Apas led the Morgan Clan across the sea boundary to the Dark Continent, where they settled beneath the Blood Moon and developed Demonic Sacrifice. Over generations, the Blood Moon and their sacrifices transformed the Morgans into powerful, often monstrous descendants whose mutations passed to their children.

  • Apas urged his clanspeople to press forward across the sea boundary rather than return to the Continent of Radiance, and they cheered their choice to follow him.
  • Apas steered the great ship across the curved sea boundary, and after another year at sea the Morgans reached the Dark Continent beneath the Blood Moon.
  • Many years later, the Morgans reached the coast, planted seeds from the Continent of Radiance, and released imported animals to multiply in their new home.
  • The Morgans expanded their population and practiced Demonic Sacrifice and the Blood Sacrifice Art as the Blood Moon and their environment changed their bodies.
  • The Morgan mutations grew stronger and became hereditary, so newborns no longer needed to undergo Demonic Sacrifice themselves.
