Ch. 1701Prince-electors

Rosela found Rhine, a surviving descendant of the White Tower Family, and named him heir to the Second Sera Empire. After judging that Rhine could not rule the vast empire, she divided it into autonomous states and established nineteen prince-electors to choose future emperors.

  • Rosela used bloodline magic to confirm that Rhine was descended from the White Tower Family and named him her successor, giving him the family name White Tower.
  • Rosela announced that she would train Rhine for three years before presenting him as crown prince, and thanked Knight Moro for bringing him to court.
  • Three years later, Rosela formally presented Rhine White Tower to the nobles as crown prince.
  • When Rhine was sixteen, Rosela judged that his compassion could not make up for his mediocre talents and divided the empire, leaving him in control of the Northern Continent.
  • Rosela chose nineteen powerful families or races, including the Elf Queen, as prince-electors and granted the White Tower family a large territory on the Northern Border.

Ch. 1702Blaspheming the Creator

Rosela established the Second Sera Empire’s succession and elector system, then left Rhine White Tower to rule before departing to confront Tashaluona over Geruiya’s death. After generations of White Tower rulers, Rosela finally found Tashaluona and learned she had killed Geruiya to seize her Creator bloodline, leaving Rosela vowing to hunt her for the rest of her life.

  • Rosela created a system of twenty electors and arranged Rhine White Tower’s marriages, heirs, and succession, naming Severa White Tower the empire’s first heir.
  • Rosela abdicated in favor of Rhine and left the Femore continent with a secret witch legion to search the Void for Tashaluona.
  • Rhine ruled competently for more than fifty years, and Severa succeeded him, later abdicating to Morgan White Tower after a prosperous reign.
  • Morgan ruled for centuries before her death, and after her son died at sea, Asikel Lawrence became the first emperor from another family.
  • Rosela found Tashaluona, who admitted extracting Geruiya’s bloodline and showed the White Gold Moon manifestation it had granted her.
  • Rosela rejected Tashaluona’s offer to create another child and vowed to spend her life killing her.

Ch. 1703The Witch Era

Rosela and Tashaluona’s rivalry grew from personal combat into a war that engulfed much of the Sacred River Heavenly Land as both witches rose to become Sacred Gods. Their conflict became known as the Witch War, and the age it defined was remembered as the Witch Era.

  • Rosela and Tashaluona repeatedly fought in the Void, recovering and growing stronger until they advanced through the ranks of witches.
  • Mosela forbade the witches of the many worlds from interfering, believing that the victor would become the next Sacred God of the Sacred River Heavenly Land.
  • The witches did not know that the favor empowering Rosela and Tashaluona had originally belonged to Geruiya, whose ancestral bloodline had won the land’s recognition.
  • The Arcane Domain of Mystery under Tashaluona and the Tower of Catastrophe under Rosela turned their rivalry into a war that drew in many Heavenly Lands.
  • After Rosela and Tashaluona both became Sacred Gods, the war had engulfed much of the Sacred River Heavenly Land and was later called the Witch War, giving its era the name the Witch Era.

Ch. 1704Above Divine Miracles

After ascending to Sacred God, Rosela reflected on the war she had caused and questioned what truth she should pursue. A mysterious emperor appeared at the Ancient Stele of Divine Miracles, told her he had been waiting for her, and explained why he believed she could become the Sacred River Heavenly Land’s first Sovereign.

  • Rosela saw Tashaluona’s message and Moweidina’s words on the Ancient Stele of Divine Miracles, but could not decide what to write because she felt guilty about the war.
  • A mysterious emperor appeared before Rosela and revealed that he had been waiting for her on behalf of a great sovereign.
  • The emperor told Rosela that he had chosen her, not Tashaluona, because he believed she could transcend the Sacred God Realm and attain the Supreme.
  • The emperor explained that Rosela could eventually defeat Tashaluona and that winning the war could place half the Sacred River Heavenly Land under her rule, bringing her halfway toward becoming its Sovereign.

Ch. 1705The Struggle for the Prime Material Plane

After the mysterious emperor promised that true Sovereignty could let Rosela restore the dead and change fate, she pledged to fight Tashaluona and wrote her vow on the Ancient Stele of Divine Miracles. Their war spread across the Sacred River Heavenly Land until both camps identified the Prime Material Plane as the key to victory, and Tashaluona’s followers acted first.

  • The mysterious emperor told Rosela that victory and true Sovereignty could let her restore those who had died, including her daughter, and change time and fate.
  • Rosela vowed to fight Tashaluona and inscribed her pledge to punish those who forsook morality on the Ancient Stele of Divine Miracles.
  • The war grew to divide more than half the Sacred River Heavenly Land into Tashaluona’s Mystery Side and Rosela’s Catastrophe Side, drawing in factions across many realms.
  • The Witch Domain split between the Black Witches supporting Tashaluona and the White Witches supporting Rosela, while Mosela stayed secluded.
  • After hundreds of thousands of years, both camps recognized that control of the Prime Material Plane would determine the Sovereign of the world.
  • Rosela’s camp hesitated to seize the Prime Material Plane for fear of damaging it and antagonizing its independent pantheons, but Tashaluona’s followers acted directly.

Ch. 1706Rather wait

Tashaluona launched a massive Abyss and Hell invasion of the Prime Material World, prompting its peoples and Heaven’s gods to fight back. Rosela refused to join the war, choosing to wait until the gods descended so she could use the conflict to her advantage.

  • A brain worm urged Tashaluona to invade the Prime Material World, and she agreed despite the risk of alienating its gods.
  • Demons and Devils opened invasion gates in Luofuluote Harbor and Basite Harbor, overwhelming the defenders and destroying Basite Harbor beneath the sea.
  • The invasion spread across half the continents and the Inner Ring Sea, forcing the nations, races, and churches of the Prime Material Plane to unite and seek divine aid.
  • Waxilun’s Archon Angels and the forces of other pantheons descended to fight the Demons and Devils as the war ravaged the Prime Material World.
  • When asked whether her forces should join the fighting, Rosela refused and said they should wait for Heaven’s gods to descend.

Ch. 1707O Sacred River!

As the Abyss, Hell, and Tashaluona’s forces ravaged the Prime Material Plane, Heaven’s gods sought Rosela’s aid after they could not stop the invasion. Rosela secured their nominal submission and led the Natural Disaster Faction into the war, ending with her calling on the Sacred River to drown the invaders.

  • The Abyss and Hell invaded the Prime Material Plane as armies from Tashaluona’s faction joined the plunder, while heroes such as Lana and Alanse led resistance.
  • After the Plane’s defenses collapsed, Demon Gods and Devil Lords entered the war, prompting Heaven’s gods to fight them directly.
  • Heaven’s gods found themselves outnumbered and sent emissaries to ask Rosela for help.
  • Rosela demanded Heaven’s support for her claim to rule the Sacred River Heavenly Land and access to Paradise Mountain, and the gods agreed.
  • Rosela led the Natural Disaster Faction and armies from across the worlds into the Prime Material Plane and declared war on Tashaluona.
  • Standing above the Sacred River, Rosela called out, “O Sacred River, drown them!”

Ch. 1708The One Chosen by the Tablet of Fate

Rosela used the Tablet of Fate to command the Sacred River, purify the battlefield, and turn the war against Tashaluona’s Mystery Faction. After her allies abandoned her and Rosela surrounded her, Tashaluona admitted defeat and learned that the Tablet had chosen her daughter, Geruiya.

  • Rosela used the Tablet of Fate to command the Sacred River and unleash a sea of light that purified the Prime Material World and restored her allies.
  • Tashaluona ordered the Mystery Faction armies to retreat, then abandoned them as Rosela’s forces pursued and routed the invaders.
  • Over tens of thousands of years, the Abyss, Hell, and other allies withdrew or surrendered, leaving Tashaluona alone.
  • Rosela led the Sacred River Heavenly Land’s forces to surround Tashaluona, who admitted defeat and asked how Rosela had found the Tablet.
  • Rosela revealed that the Tablet of Fate had been on the last page of Geruiya’s diary and had chosen Geruiya, telling Tashaluona that her betrayal of her daughter had caused her defeat.

Ch. 1709Not of My Blood!

Tashaluona confronted Rosela over Geruiya’s death, then learned from War God Youlun that the Creator had watched her all along. Driven into madness, she joined the Defiled World and threatened the Sacred River Heavenly Land, until the White Gold Moon flared with immense radiance.

  • Tashaluona admitted she would still extract Geruiya’s sacred bloodline, while Rosela condemned her and vowed to resurrect her daughter.
  • Tashaluona called out to her ancestor, and War God Youlun appeared before the gods and kings.
  • Youlun condemned Tashaluona and revealed that the White Gold Moon was the Creator’s incarnation, whose radiance had always watched the mortal world.
  • Tashaluona blamed the Creator for never favoring her and declared that she would join the Defiled World.
  • A distant voice praised Tashaluona and threatened to bring down the Sacred River Heavenly Land, but the White Gold Moon erupted with unimaginable radiance.

Ch. 1710How could a sinner receive glory?

The Creator’s radiance dispersed the First King’s aura, but Tashaluona was condemned by Nuoweidali and cast into the Defiled World. Jiang Yuu revealed that he had spared her so Rosela could kill her and unite the Sacred River Heavenly Land, then met with Immortal Emperor Changheng.

  • The Creator’s holy radiance eased the powerful beings of the Sacred River Heavenly Land, while Tashaluona sensed her ancestral bloodline and believed the Creator would favor her.
  • Nuoweidali appeared before Tashaluona, denounced her as a sinner, and forced her into the Defiled World.
  • At the Angel Civilization’s Grand Cemetery, Nuoweidali asked Jiang Yuu why he had stopped her from killing Tashaluona.
  • Jiang Yuu explained that he wanted Rosela to campaign against the Defiled World, kill Tashaluona, and unify the Sacred River Heavenly Land.
  • Nuoweidali said she did not regret following Immortal Emperor Changheng into Transcendence, and Jiang Yuu praised her before leaving.
  • At the Pure World Holy Court, Immortal Emperor Changheng watched the war and the Well of Yuanshi until a radiant figure arrived and asked what he needed.

Ch. 1711Willing to follow Your Majesty!

Luo Changheng asked Jiang Yuu to remove the Veil separating the seven great Lands of Being from the Defiled World, but Jiang Yuu warned that the First King's wandering corpse could destroy their homeland if the Veil were lifted. Jiang Yuu revealed that he had been growing stronger and promised to protect the Pure World, and Luo Changheng pledged to follow him.

  • Luo Changheng urged Jiang Yuu to remove the Veil now that the Pure World had gained the upper hand, explaining how it obstructed the inhabitants of the seven great Lands of Being.
  • Jiang Yuu agreed that the Veil hindered their people but warned that the First King's wandering corpse might enter the Well of Yuanshi and shatter the seven Lands of Being.
  • Luo Changheng recalled the First King's past interventions and wondered why he had repeatedly allowed new Transcendence Ones to emerge instead of destroying the Pure Land.
  • Jiang Yuu said the First King might be waiting to gather nine Transcendence Ones and explained that the Defiled World would endure as long as its source remained alive.
  • Jiang Yuu revealed that he, too, had been growing stronger and promised that the Pure World's sky would not fall while he remained.
  • Luo Changheng pledged to follow Jiang Yuu and help sweep away the Defiled World.

Ch. 1712The corpse stirred

Jiang Yuu and Immortal Emperor Changheng discussed the Pure World army’s advance while the First King’s headless corpse stopped near the Well of Yuanshi and began tearing at itself. In the lower realm, Rosela questioned why the Creator had allowed Tashaluona to fall into the Defiled World, and War God Youlun said the Creator would not protect a sinner.

  • Jiang Yuu asked Immortal Emperor Changheng about the Pure World army’s progress and its soldiers.
  • The First King’s headless corpse stopped near the Well of Yuanshi, formed a mouth at its navel, and clawed open its body, spilling gray-black blood toward the Well.
  • The monitoring squad called for emergency procedures and reported that something unpredictable had happened.
  • After the Creator’s radiance drove the presence from Tashaluona, the gods and kings discussed the Creator’s departure and Tashaluona’s fall into the Veil.
  • Rosela asked Luoseda why the Creator had not taken Tashaluona with him, and War God Youlun answered that the Creator would not shelter a sinner.

Ch. 1713Rosela

War God Youlun persuaded Rosela that the Creator may have left Tashaluona alive as a test and an opportunity to achieve Sovereignty. Rosela consolidated her rule through the Divine Court of Natural Disaster and prepared to invade the Veil, where Tashaluona had fled.

  • War God Youlun reassured Rosela that her trials might be a test from the Creator, and she reflected on his legendary ties to the Creator.
  • Rosela concluded that defeating the Defiled World within the Veil could let her unify the Sacred River Heavenly Land and become a Sovereign.
  • Rosela established the Divine Court of Natural Disaster and began turning its loose alliance of powers into a more centralized ruling institution.
  • Over tens of thousands of years, Rosela strengthened the Divine Court's laws and her authority.
  • Rosela summoned powerful figures and organized an expeditionary army to enter the Veil, defeat the Defiled World, and kill Tashaluona.

Ch. 1714Blood Sea

Tashaluona learned that Rosela had gathered forces to conquer the Veil World, but she remained confident that a supreme mystery would aid her. Vast drops of gray-black blood fell into Defiled Worlds across many realms, forming enormous seas of blood.

  • A Cyclopes Warrior reported that Rosela had assembled legions to conquer the world within the Veil, alarming the gathered Defiled World armies.
  • Tashaluona dismissed the armies’ fears and revealed that she had transformed the Creator’s blood into Defiled Divine Abominations to plague the real world and Sacred River.
  • Tashaluona declared that a supreme mystery had promised unexpected changes for the Defiled World.
  • Enormous drops of gray-black blood fell into Defiled Worlds across Sacred River Heavenly Land and other realms, forming vast seas of blood.

Ch. 1715An unexpected turn

A sea of blood from the First King's blood filled the Defiled World within the Veil, and Rosela discovered its source while reconsidering her campaign against Tashaluona. Years later, strengthened monsters emerged from the sea and attacked the Veil's edge, leaving Rosela unwilling to launch her assembled army rashly.

  • The First King's blood spread through the Veil until it formed a sea covering the depths of the Defiled World.
  • Rosela entered the Veil and saw gray-black drops of blood falling from its highest point, then worried that the sea could make an attack on Tashaluona too costly.
  • Rosela returned to the Divine Court of Natural Disaster to search for a solution.
  • Years later, monsters emerged from the sea of blood and attacked the Veil's edge, grievously injuring Transcendent Beings.
  • Rosela learned that the monsters had grown stronger and wondered whether Tashaluona had been strengthened too, so she held back her assembled expeditionary army.

Ch. 1716Duty and Perseverance

Rosela ordered the Sacred River Heavenly Land to build a dike against the Blood Sea and contacted the upper realm for help. Immortal Emperor Changheng arrived at Yuanshi Divine Mountain to confront the First King's howling headless corpse, though he was unsure he could subdue it.

  • Rosela ordered the gods and powerful beings of every Heavenly Land to build a dike along the Veil against the Blood Sea.
  • Rosela prayed at the Ancient Stele of Divine Miracles, and a hazy emperor appeared, promised to stop the being behind the Blood Sea, and warned her to prepare for the Defiled World's attack.
  • The First King's headless corpse formed a mouth at its navel and unleashed howls that tormented the guards at Yuanshi Divine Mountain.
  • The Elf Goddess sent her squad away to recover, while a White Sky Angel stayed beside her to keep watch.
  • Immortal Emperor Changheng arrived and told the Elf Goddess and Angel he would try to take the corpse away, though only the Sacred Emperor could fully subdue it.

Ch. 1717The Body Gave Birth to Consciousness

Immortal Emperor Changheng diverted the First King's tainted blood away from the Well of Yuanshi and attacked the headless body in Beyond Transcendence. The First King's head resisted Jiang Yuu's suppression, leaving the battle unresolved.

  • Immortal Emperor Changheng used his authority to comfort Rosela, then diverted the First King's blood away from the Well of Yuanshi, though it contaminated the surrounding Land of Pure World and Sea of Transcendence.
  • Changheng redirected the spreading blood sea into an empty area, allowing the Divine Court of Natural Disaster's embankment to hold back the Defiled World creatures.
  • Rosela saw that the blood had stopped dripping into the Defiled World and felt reassured that the Immortal Emperor was watching over them.
  • Changheng attacked the First King's headless body with the Mirror of the Immortal Sun, overpowering its clumsy attempts to strike back.
  • Heaven's Will of the Defiled World surged, and the First King's head shrieked beneath the White Gold Moon, but Jiang Yuu's radiant suppression did not make its will retreat.

Ch. 1718I Grant You New Life

The First King used a decoy strand of consciousness to distract Jiang Yuu while his true consciousness descended to Yuanshi Divine Mountain. There, he invoked his name as Olofis, Great Monarch of the First World, to grant new life to his headless body.

  • The White Gold Moon became a Blood Moon as the First King's essence spread across it, alarming the Pure World's armies.
  • Jiang Yuu burned away the black and red lines covering the moon and destroyed the First King's decoy strand of consciousness.
  • Jiang Yuu realized the First King's true consciousness had already gone to Yuanshi Divine Mountain, where his headless body was battling Immortal Emperor Changheng.
  • The First King's consciousness appeared before Immortal Emperor Changheng and commanded his body to break its shackles and receive new life.

Ch. 1719Eyes

Olofis sacrificed his immortal body and proclaimed new life, creating a newborn consciousness in his headless corpse while his severed head began slowly regrowing a body. As the new being awakened, it tore open its chest and grew a pair of scarlet eyes.

  • Olofis proclaimed that he granted new life, startling people throughout Beyond Transcendence and the Pure and Defiled Battlefield.
  • Jiang Yuu returned beneath the Tree of Moonbirth and questioned Olofis, who explained that he had sacrificed his body to protect the Defiled World's last remaining lands.
  • Jiang Yuu and Olofis argued over whether the Defiled World deserved to exist, then Jiang Yuu slapped Olofis's avatar away when it stood beside him.
  • Olofis's severed head began slowly growing a new body inside the White Gold Moon.
  • Olofis's will entered his headless corpse and ignited its newborn consciousness, which demanded new life and grew scarlet eyes in its chest.

Ch. 1720Dare to take another step!

Immortal Emperor Changheng fought the newly conscious headless body of the First King as it rampaged across Yuanshi Divine Mountain and tried to grow a head. Just as it threatened the cemeteries of civilization, the Sacred Emperor intervened and warned it not to advance.

  • Immortal Emperor Changheng blinded the headless giant’s newly formed crimson eyes with his immortal mirror, but the giant’s retaliatory blow damaged Yuanshi Divine Mountain and wounded Changheng.
  • The giant’s eyes regenerated behind a protective membrane, and it tried to grow a head before raging across the mountain when it failed.
  • The giant’s charge battered Yuanshi Divine Mountain and overwhelmed Changheng, who resolved to stop it from reaching the cemeteries of civilization.
  • A White Gold Sword struck the mountain summit and knocked the giant down before it could reach the cemeteries.
  • The Sacred Emperor threatened to cut down the giant if it advanced, awakening its fear and making it retreat in terror.
