As Ma Lou spoke, he waved his hands with wild exaggeration, even throwing in his own signature funny faces:
"If we'd lost that battle, never mind you little newbies from the Third Closed Beta-even Kuang Shao, Cat Alliance Leader, and the others would probably still be stuck on the forums as Cloud Gamers!"
"You have no idea what it was like back then..."
To be fair, these two newbies were absolutely die-hard fans of the First Closed Beta Five-Person Group!
Ma Lou had already repeated this wildly embellished battle story to the pair at least a dozen times along the way!
The thing was, not only did these two never get tired of it, they got more hooked every time!
"Holy shit! Bro Ma, you're so badass!"
"Then what? Then what? Was Flesh Fusion about to unleash a full-screen instakill?"
The two obligingly let out all sorts of amazed cries, even chiming in with perfectly timed prompts to give Ma Lou all the validation he could want.
That only made Ma Lou more addicted to telling the story, and the bizarre details he invented grew increasingly outrageous.
"Now, that Flesh Fusion stood a thousand feet tall! It had ten thousand eyes all over its body! The acid it spat could melt mountains!"
"There were only five of us on the entire server back then!"
"I charged into a pack of dozens of monsters with nothing but a Stone Spear, fighting my way in and out seven times! Didn't even blink!"
"Then I fought my way straight up to Flesh Fusion and battled that bastard for another three hundred rounds!"
"Flesh Fusion with ten thousand eyes? That's terrifying!"
"Bro Ma, then what? What happened after that?"
The two newbies were completely
