In a World of Eldritch Horrors, I Ascend with the Fourth Calamity

Transmigrating into another world overrun by eldritch horrors, Lynn discovers that he has become a third-rate false god, his divine power exhausted and his existence on the verge of fading away.

Outside his church, an indescribable monstrosity is battering down the door. A desperate countdown begins.

To save himself, Lynn grits his teeth and fabricates a full-immersion VR MMORPG called Awakening of the Ancient Gods, summoning a band of hardcore players from Blue Star to serve as his followers.

He thought these players would tremble under the horrors' torment. Instead, things spiral completely out of control...

Player A (fanatical): "Guys, this headless evil spirit's collision hitbox is bugged! Hurry, wedge it in place with a door, then take turns chipping away at its HP for the first kill!"

Player B (excited): "This Great Old One's tentacles count as loot drops! Eating them raw gives you five points of poison resistance! Come take a bite!"

Player C (thoughtful): "If we tie up every NPC in this town, the cultists won't have anyone left to sacrifice. That's what you call a logic-based clear!"

Lynn watches the eldritch monsters outside being driven stark raving mad by the players-and the awestruck, fanatical gazes of the natives, who now revere him as the "Supreme Lord of Chaos."

Seated upon his divine throne, Lynn projects unparalleled majesty. Inside, he's an absolute nervous wreck:

"Stop making things up! I'm seriously not the source of some indescribable horror-I just couldn't stop these players from becoming the Fourth Calamity!"
