Kicking the cell door open, Reisado spread his arms and felt the power surging through his body. It was as though he had returned to that distant moment years ago.
That had been the battle in which he was captured, a great clash he would never forget. Alone, he had fought three Manifestation Realm elementalists at once. Two of them, a Wind Elementalist and a Fire Elementalist, had even been on the verge of breaking through to the Willful Realm.
In that battle, he had held his own against all three, while also killing five hundred shield-bearing frontline soldiers and five hundred archers behind them.
Had Qin Mu not personally intervened at the end, there was no telling who would have won.
The memories flashed past, bringing him back to the present. That face surfaced in Reisado's mind again, Qin Mu's features growing clearer by the moment. Through countless days and nights that had blurred together, he had sworn that if he ever encountered the man again, even if he could not kill him himself, he would at least make him pay.
