After hearing the report, Lin Mo felt a weight lift from his heart.
He found Zhao Gang.
"Big Brother Zhao, keep an eye on things here for now. Let me know whenever there's any news from the four races."
"I need to go back for a bit. I won't rest easy until I see that precious thing sprout with my own eyes."
Zhao Gang nodded. "Go ahead. I'll keep things under control here."
Lin Mo had originally planned to go straight through the Portal, but then thought better of it.
He needed to make sure he had a body of his own on the Terra Continent. That way, if the Portal closed, he would still serve as a channel for information, rather than leaving them completely in the dark.
So he returned to his quarters, informed the guard, washed up, and lay down. He closed his eyes, and his consciousness slowly sank into darkness.

The soft light left him momentarily disoriented.
The young female attendant immediately reported his awakening, and an unfamiliar young guard in a crisp military uniform opened the door and entered.
"Sir, you're awake."
"Mm." Lin Mo stretched his body, feeling no discomfort whatsoever.
"Arrange a plane to the Arctic Base."
"Yes, sir!"
After a series of clearances and security checks at the highest priority level, Lin Mo's private plane landed in the Arctic underground base's internal hangar an hour later.
He passed through a long alloy corridor and took an elevator, arriving at the Expeditionary Force's quarantine zone.
