Dozens of familiar faces appeared on the screen.
They were Eagle Country's legislators and generals.
The Speaker at their head spoke immediately.
"Mars!"
"What the hell are you doing?!"
"Why did you launch a nuclear bomb?!"
A general slammed the table and roared.
"Do you realize Great Xia's Nuclear Bundling has already been activated?!"
"The whole world is watching us!"
"Are you trying to drag Eagle Country into hell?!"
Faced with their questions and accusations, Mars roared:
"I don't know!"
"I don't know what any of this damned mess is about!"
His voice was hoarse, and he was on the verge of breaking down.
"I never ordered a nuclear launch!"
"This is a trap!"
"A trap set by Great Xia!"
The Speaker sneered.
"A trap?"
"Come on, we're all politicians. We don't have time for your bullshit!"
"Put an end to this now. We don't want to go to our graves with you!"
Mars opened his mouth but could not speak.
Countless thoughts flashed through his mind.
But no matter how he tried, he could not figure out what was going on with that nuclear bomb!
How could a nuclear bomb have been launched without his orders?
Unless that nuclear bomb wasn't Eagle Country's and had merely been launched from within Eagle Country!
That's right. That had to be it!
Once Mars had worked it out, he abruptly clenched his fists, his nails digging into his palms.
"Great Xia..."
"You're ruthless!"
The Speaker's voice interrupted his thoughts.
"Now isn't the time to assign blame!"
"Contact Great Xia immediately!"
"Tell them to halt Nuclear Bundling!"
"Otherwise, Eagle Country is finished!"
Mars gritted his teeth.
"I know."
Mars rushed to the communications console.
"Get me Great Xia's person in charge immediately. I'll speak to them myself!"
"Now! Right now!"
