The staff officer pointed to the steadily expanding red area on the map. The Demon Clan was already closing in on several routes where evacuation was still incomplete.
"The Demon God and Demon Venerables will dodge. We can't kill them, but we can still drive them off with Antimatter Bombs and get our main force out first!"
Zheng Jinren glanced at the positions of the remaining troops, then nodded.
"Proceed. Change the mission to covering the evacuation. No pursuing the Demon God."
Then he contacted Watcher and relayed the new operational plan.
Both sides deployed Robots carrying Antimatter Bombs, beginning to encircle the enemy and squeeze the available space, while the other combat units moved away from those vehicles.
This was a mobile line of deterrence!
The Pangu Mecha did not need to catch up with the Demon God. They only needed to approach the area it was preparing to attack, preventing it from continuing to destroy ground troops with impunity.
When the first bomb-carrying Mecha reached the vicinity of the Western Passage, the Seventh-Order Demon Venerable pursuing an Artillery formation suddenly stopped, then rapidly retreated.
Almost simultaneously, the underground source of tremors that had been rising toward that area sank back down.
"It's working! The Demon God has changed direction!"
Zheng Jinren said:
"Use long-range fire to block the Low-Order Demon Clan. Transport formations, move through immediately. Bomb-carrying Mecha, maintain your distance. Do not enter the tunnels."
Dense Artillery fire rained down on the pursuing demons again. Without the Demon Venerable's cover, the Low-Order Demon Clan was quickly suppressed, and the stalled evacuation convoy finally began moving again.
The same thing happened on the other side, where the Kona Civilization was responsible.
As the Robots carrying Antimatter Bombs advanced, the Demon God that had just emerged abandoned its surface
