Wu Buyu carried the basket in his talons, with three people standing on his back: Sheng An, Qi Lingwu, and Yu Feng.
Yu Feng used his wind ability to lift the metal basket and reduce its weight, allowing Wu Buyu to fly while carrying it.
Qi Lingwu kept his Superpower fully activated, guarding against any unexpected danger.
The whole team worked seamlessly together.
Yu Feng had only just awakened, after all, and his Superpower wasn't strong. But Song Linwei was down below and could enhance it. Together, they were more than the sum of their parts and could keep going for quite a while.
They couldn't sustain this mode of travel over long distances, but the trip from Capital City to Stone City was just barely manageable.
Sheng An said nothing throughout the journey.
The exertion took a heavy toll on Yu Feng, leaving his face a little pale.
"Sister Sheng, just how many Otherkind are there in Stone City? Are Zhang Kun and the others still alive?" Yu Feng asked quietly.
Sheng An shook her head.
Only after a long silence did she say, "I don't know how many there are, but there must be a very powerful Otherkind."
"Huh?" Yu Feng was busy using his Superpower, leaving his mind sluggish. He didn't understand. "An Otherkind that's already powerful at the very start of Doomsday?"
