"Monkey, here come the zombies you wanted. That mouth of yours..." Lulu said as she loosened her wrists.
Seeing Sister Yao's slight frown, Monkey couldn't help regretting it. Me and my jinxing mouth. Why did I have to run it...?
Bai Yaoyao released the entire Beasts Legion from her space and told everyone to prepare for battle.
She now discovered that, after her mental ability reached level four, she could roughly identify a zombie's or human's ability type by its color.
So she carefully scanned the area again, but still found no sign of a psychic zombie.
One street over, however, she detected more than a dozen ability users heading their way. She didn't know whether they wanted to pick up easy spoils or had something else in mind.
The zombie horde was already visible to the naked eye.
Generally, in the early stages, zombie hordes formed for only two reasons: either too much noise had attracted them, or a psychic zombie was controlling them.
Although the group hadn't been particularly careful about keeping quiet, they hadn't made enough noise to draw a horde.
With the jade piece in hand, Bai Yaoyao kept her psychic scan running and charged into the horde, targeting only level-four zombies.
After all... there were only a handful of level-four zombies.
Doggie was no longer the same Doggie as before. Ever since that last display of power, everyone who saw Doggie had to give a thumbs-up, which did wonders for Doggie's vanity.
Even Big Meow had gained a whole new respect for Doggie.
So Doggie stayed close behind Bai Yaoyao and immediately joined the fight.
Only then did the others snap out of their daze. If they didn't act now, even the level-three zombies would all be snatched up, so they hurriedly charged in too.
