The Cleaning Crew's quarters were somewhat better than Monkey's, but nearly twenty people still shared a single room. There was barely enough space to lie down, and the floor was so packed there was nowhere to step.

Bai Yaoyao kept her mental power active. First, a girl came to bring Sister Li food and clothes, but Sister Li refused them and would not even open her door.
From their conversation, the girl seemed to be her daughter. Putting that together with the signs she had noticed during the day, Bai Yaoyao had a pretty good idea of what was going on.
Once Sister Li fell asleep, Bai Yaoyao exchanged a look with Lulu and slipped out.
