Monkey wasn't angry. He turned to Chen Yixuan and asked, "Where did this hotheaded idiot come from? Is there something wrong with his brain? Does he want a fight? I'm ready anytime!"
"Hmph. You've got the energy to fight, but not to take missions? All you care about is yourselves. I'm not afraid of you, but I won't fight you either. The base doesn't allow fighting inside the city."
"Then let's meet at the Dueling Arena this afternoon. Be there or be square, shorty," Monkey immediately replied.
"Heh, you really think I'm scared of you? Fine, let's fight!" The five-foot-three man didn't back down at all. He thrust out his chest and stared straight at Monkey.
"You've got guts. See you this afternoon."
Monkey suddenly perked up. He hadn't found out exactly when they could leave the city, but at least he'd found something to do.
Then it belatedly dawned on him. Ooh, Sister Yao won't be angry, will she?
I wasn't the one stirring up trouble. That five-foot-three guy came over looking for attention first.

"That man's name is Ouyang Ning. He used to be the captain of the Authorities' Third Special Ability Team, but they ran into the Human Experimentation Base while out on a mission. Those monsters scattered his team, and he lost quite a few comrades.
He's been in a bad mood these past couple of days, so his temper's been a little explosive. He doesn't mean any harm. He's just a bit blunt."
Monkey waved a hand and replied casually, "It's fine. No need to explain. We're bored anyway, so this gives us some entertainment. Sorry for the trouble, Captain Chen, but please help us ask about leaving the base.
