Bai Yaoyao almost thought she was still dreaming. She stared blankly for a long while before she finally made sense of the scene before her.
The barrier at the outer edge of the seawater in her space was like the transparent wall of a swimming pool, separating it from the land.
Bai Yaoyao shook her head inwardly. This was a bad design. It felt like a giant fish tank, and a rather ridiculous one at that.
The next time she went to shore, she would bring in a beach and lower the sea. That would feel right.
"Kind human! I love it here! I'd barely arrived before I leveled up!"
The mutant whale hurried over as soon as it spotted Bai Yaoyao.
Bai Yaoyao checked and found that the mutant whale had advanced straight to a Level 9 Mutant Beast.
The barnacles had probably been tormenting and distracting it all this time, leaving it unable to focus on leveling up.
"Congratulations! Here, have something tasty. I'll call you Big Whale from now on."
Bai Yaoyao drew a stream of Spring Water over with her fingertip and guided it into Big Whale's mouth.
Big Whale obediently opened its mouth. Perhaps because it was so enormous, it took several mouthfuls before it experienced the wonders of the Spring Water.
It immediately grew excited again, thrashing its tail against the sea.
"Delicious, delicious! All the wounds those barnacles left on me have healed! I fought Old Shark last week, and he bit a gash in my tail. It hurt for days, but now that's healed too!
Thank you, kind human."
Big Whale called her a kind human again.
Bai Yaoyao finally couldn't take it anymore.
"Don't call me kind human. You can call me Yaoyao."
"All right, kind Yaoyao." Big Whale obediently changed
