She had stumbled across some adorable little zombies.
Everyone in Dark Night quickly prepared for battle and spread out a little, while Fat Brother and Stone went straight ahead to clear the way.
"Something's off. Those zombies are packed way too close together. This doesn't look like what we expected."
Bai Yaoyao suddenly had a bad feeling.
The zombies barely moved, and the distance between them stayed exactly the same, as though they were locked up.
Then she thought about the Ji Family... They had lived in S City for years and had long since cleared out its zombies. So... how had they kept leveling up?
Unless they had been raising zombies from the very beginning...
When they drew closer, they saw a large sunken pond, with iron railings enclosing its entire upper perimeter. All kinds of low-level zombies were confined inside.
Since all the guards responsible for watching the zombies had already fled, the zombies around the perimeter were roaring wildly. They were only level-one, level-two, and Level-Three Zombies, with no Zombie King to lead them, so some were even killing one another.
Everyone's expressions darkened.
Zombies usually leveled up by eating humans and their own kind. The higher an Ability User's level, the more nourishing they were to a zombie.
Bai Yaoyao kept her gaze fixed on the pond. Ignoring the low-level zombies outside, she unleashed a few skills to clear a path and went straight into the greenhouse.
Without the ventilation equipment running, the smell inside was... honestly something else.
