After last night's revelry and a long lie-in together, the exhaustion of the past several days seemed to have vanished.
The sun had blazed like fire for days, but after two consecutive downpours, much of the sweltering heat had finally been doused.
"It's nice and cool today."
"Is summer over, Sister Yao? Will it get hot again?"
Bai Yaoyao had long since forgotten. Apart from the important events, her memories of the first two years of the apocalypse had already grown faint.
"I don't remember either, but it's nothing to celebrate. In the apocalypse, it's either extreme heat or extreme cold. When do we ever get normal weather?" Bai Yaoyao replied.
"Okay, I was getting ahead of myself." Monkey held Great Sage in his arms and stroked his fur. Aside from Bai Yaoyao, Monkey was Great Sage's favorite.

Last night, Bai Yaoyao had asked Great Sage to cook a few dishes, and he had immediately blown everyone away. She decided to let him finish his training early.
With those cooking skills, he could have opened a restaurant before the apocalypse. Now, all he needed to do was cook everyday meals, and he was more than capable of that.
She had Great Sage deliver two boxes of mooncakes, a case of instant noodles, ten packs of chocolate, and ten energy bars to his master.
Great Sage contributed a bunch of bananas himself. These supplies were an incredibly generous gift under the circumstances, especially with the move coming up. Not only were they easy to carry, but they could also save a life at a critical moment.
Chef Li was very pleased,
