The battle at sea had ended.
The entire fleet had sunk to the seabed.
The battle in the sky had reached a fever pitch.
Amid the deadlock, all the enemy fighter aircraft suddenly withdrew.
The Alliance pilots, who had been fighting in a bloodthirsty frenzy a moment earlier, suddenly turned and fled without a care for anything else.
"What's going on?"
Little White Tiger asked, bewildered.
"Whatever it is, the Alliance is up to no good."
Overlord shrugged indifferently. "I hear their five-star generals are pretty badass. I'd like to kill a few. Maybe those bastards in the Capital will get so happy they'll cancel the warrant on my ass."
As he spoke.
Two figures descended from the sky.
Instructor and Guan Lei greeted everyone smugly.
"Well? Was I fucking awesome or what? Give me a little more time and I'd wipe out every last one of their fighters."
Guan Lei knew the Chun Prefecture crowd well, and he had no airs about him, joking cheerfully with everyone.
"All I saw was you getting chased all over the sky."
Old Ninth's tongue was venomous. He never felt right unless he took a few jabs at everyone he met.
"What do you know? Can you fly a plane? That was fucking tactics."
Guan Lei rolled his eyes hard at him and argued defiantly, "I came all this way to save you, and you don't even appreciate it. Ungrateful bastard."
"I can't fly planes, but we can shoot... planes down."
Hi Dog grinned goofily.
"Hey, why didn't you leave us a ship?" Instructor demanded of Overlord in displeasure. "How the fuck are we supposed to get back without one?"
