Many people might wonder why White Garment had not killed the Pope and the Marquis sooner, when he was clearly the strongest.

He had kept these monsters and fiends suppressed for too long, and quite a few factions were secretly plotting trouble.
If anything went wrong, the Dragon Kingdom would be doomed beyond recovery.
"Without me, Eden will rule the Alliance within ten years."

There was no denying that everything the other man said was true.
