Ch. 509Sikong came under attack

Yue rewound the small world to the battle that sealed the Godforsaken Land, warning Little White Tiger and the others not to change its outcome. In the real world, Kantarō and four assassins ambushed Sikong Jian at a KTV, intending to kill him so Kou Island’s forces could pass through his territory.

  • Old Ninth tried to count the forces that might threaten the Dragon Kingdom, but White Garment warned that the whole world would attack if the Dragon Kingdom lacked a Nine Awakenings fighter.
  • Yue explained that Man could help them leave the small world early, then rewound time to before the battle that sealed the Godforsaken Land.
  • Yue warned Little White Tiger and the others not to change the battle’s destined outcome and vanished, leaving behind a cigarette.
  • Sikong Jian relaxed at a KTV while several women and his underlings surrounded him.
  • Five of Kantarō’s Fifth Awakening assassins pinned Sikong Jian and tightened a fine wire around his bleeding neck.
  • Kantarō revealed that he planned to kill Sikong because of his ties to Little White Tiger and the Chun Prefecture, clearing a path through the Southwest for Kou Island’s forces.

Ch. 510Who Was Stirring Up Trouble?

  • A bloodied young man told the masked conspirators that the Small World had been shattered and that White Garment could not escape for decades or longer.
  • The masked conspirators declared that the Dragon-Slaying Plan could proceed, gave the young man a Wei Zheng mask, and toasted the Dragon Kingdom’s defeat.

Ch. 511The Great Battle of the Past

On the Sealing War battlefield, Kakhun revealed that Western Awakened had massacred Dragon Kingdom soldiers and wounded, then died entrusting evidence to Little White Tiger. Little White Tiger led Old Ninth and the others toward the enemy while White Garment and the Dragon Kingdom’s geniuses stayed behind to survive and expose the truth.

  • Kakhun identified himself as a squad leader and told Little White Tiger that Western Awakened had ambushed his brigade and attacked the wounded soldiers’ camp.
  • Kakhun flayed the cross-marked skin from his chest and gave it, along with a dagger, to Little White Tiger as evidence for Xuanyuan before dying.
  • Little White Tiger’s companions rallied against the Westerners, but he ordered them to hide and make the truth public if he did not return.

  • A dying woman from the Expeditionary Army’s Fourteenth Battalion told Ji Min and the others that the Westerners had ambushed her unit after tricking them into a rescue.
  • Little White Tiger ordered Old Ninth to do as the woman wished, and the group killed the guards, burned their camp, and mounted their remains on stakes.

Ch. 514An ending that could not be changed

Little White Tiger and the others revealed to Xuanyuan that the Dragon Kingdom’s Awakened would be betrayed and vilified in the future. Learning that the Dragon Kingdom would endure because of their sacrifice, Xuanyuan led the Awakened in a final charge against the Ancestors, leaving the Western Coalition Forces poised to attack.

  • The Western Coalition Forces activated the altar, and Little White Tiger showed Xuanyuan evidence of their betrayal while explaining that he and his companions came from the future.
  • Xuanyuan asked how the Dragon Kingdom fared in the future, and Thirteen told him that the Awakened defeated the Ancestors but were betrayed by the West and branded cowards.

  • Xuanyuan learned from Ji Min that the Dragon Kingdom eventually recovered and became powerful, and he accepted that the Awakened’s deaths would secure its future.
  • Little White Tiger and the brothers knelt to honor Xuanyuan, who rallied the surviving Awakened to charge the Ancestors as the Pope prepared the Western Coalition Forces to strike afterward.

Ch. 515Man Emerged

Little White Tiger stopped the Pope from killing Xuanyuan, but Xuanyuan and the wounded Dragon Kingdom Awakened chose death rather than burden their successors. As Little White Tiger and his allies fought the Coalition Forces, Man emerged from the merged red and white lights and revealed that he was a derivative consciousness within Little White Tiger’s pseudo-divine body.

  • Little White Tiger blocked the Pope’s holy attack with the Human Emperor Seal and stripped the Western gods of their divine power.

  • Young Luo arrived at the Chamber of Commerce, where Le Suifeng and his family welcomed him and reported that supplies and hundreds of fighters were ready.
  • Young Luo suspected that masked figures gathering outside were there to kill him, while three youths led by Lei Zi mistook the situation for a chance to attack him themselves.
  • Le Suifeng ordered his hidden fighters to charge the three youths, but explosions and over a hundred Gallant Heroes descending from above disrupted the ambush.
  • The Gallant Heroes Association announced that it had come to eliminate traitors and drove back the Chamber of Commerce fighters, while a burly man carried the three youths away.

Ch. 522Crisis in Chun Prefecture

Young Luo faced a suicidal assault by the Gallant Heroes Association and escaped toward a secret passage, but the heroes killed Le Xin and the others in the elevator. • Che Feixian hesitated to send her troops against the refugees as Xiao Yuan’s mounted bandits charged in and robbed them, driving the crowd into the freezing wilderness.

Ch. 526Xiao Yuan's decision 2

Xiao Yuan arranged Chun Prefecture’s evacuation and prepared to sacrifice herself to draw the Saint Master into the city while False Eye and the others attacked the Korean army. After the civilians left, she returned alone and sent Little White Tiger an emotional video message, uncertain whether she could survive the coming battle.

  • Doctors told Zhang Yang that Xiao Yuan had exhausted her life force and was holding on only through sheer willpower.
  • Old Sick tried to take his own life, but Old Pestilence stopped him and vowed to wipe out the Koreans after Xiao Yuan was buried.
  • Youtiao Lao's daughter suggested lighting a lamp to extend Xiao Yuan's life, so the civilians of Chun Prefecture lit candles and prayed.
  • Xiao Yuan imagined a joyful wedding with Little White Tiger and the people who cared about her before realizing she was still in freezing Ice Prefecture.
