  • Little White Tiger led Chun Prefecture’s core members to Divine Mountain, where they began digging by hand to find Hi Dog and Bone.
  • Trapped in an endless icy space, Hi Dog and Bone ran out of supplies and heard their brothers digging above them, though neither side could reach or communicate with the other.

  • Xiao Yuan confronted Little White Tiger, arguing that Hi Dog and Bone were dead and that Chun Prefecture needed its leaders to return.
  • Xiao Yuan slapped Little White Tiger, then knelt and begged him to go back, extinguishing Hi Dog and Bone’s will to keep living.

Ch. 691Jian

Hi Dog and Bone nearly destroyed themselves to escape the Small World, but Jian appeared and revealed the history and purpose of the Immortal Medicine. He ruled out Old Ninth as its recipient and said Tiger had no need for it, leaving the medicine’s fate unresolved.

  • Hi Dog and Bone tried to self-destruct, but the aurora healed them and summoned Jian, a lone soul guarding the Immortal Medicine.
  • Jian explained that he had trapped them because they did not meet the Human Emperor’s conditions, though he had spared them after sensing Lu’s aura in their Qi.
  • Jian revealed that the Human Emperor had refined the Immortal Medicine to create an army of Immortals, then sacrificed himself after its limitations became clear and he defeated the western Gods.

Ch. 693Who would get the Immortal Medicine

As Chun Prefecture began its expansion, Guan Ming told Old Ninth that he and the others had to leave for Prison Island within three days and gave him a lead on Old Qian in Xiang Prefecture. Little White Tiger, Old Ninth, and their companions prepared for the trip while studying the island’s rulers, though they kept their departure from their subordinates.

  • Dozens of bulldozers began building resettlement housing for Chun Prefecture’s slum residents, with Fang Mu explaining that volunteers supplied the labor.
  • Guan Ming arrived with orders from the Old Man for Old Ninth’s group to set out within three days and find Old Qian, who could guide them to Prison Island.

Ch. 696The Four Villains

Little White Tiger and his group arrived in Xiang Prefecture to meet Master Qiu and prepare to capture Old Qian, with Hei Ba’s associates, the Four Villains, assigned to help them. As they entered the crowded street, Brother Yao and a group of children spotted their gold badges and prepared to rob them.

  • A Yao offered the bald boss a gold badge in exchange for Qianqian, but the boss said she had been sold outside the city and offered him only five hundred.
  • The boss admitted he had arranged for beggars to attack A Yao, threatened to break his legs, and forced him to accept the money and leave.
  • A Yao walked away in tears while a taunting voice urged him to take revenge, and memories of Qianqian fueled his anger.
  • The bald boss and his men recognized the badge as one reserved for Chun Prefecture’s Eighth Master and Ninth Master and realized they were in serious trouble.
  • A Yao returned, covered the bald boss with a fertilizer sack, and stabbed at him with his knife while demanding Qianqian back.

  • Old Ninth and Little White Tiger lost their cash while staking out the casino, so Old Ninth sent Hi Dog to borrow money from its guards.
  • Hi Dog demanded a huge loan and Wine Sword Spear entered the courtyard, ordering the Awakened guards to die rather than make him repay it.

  • Little White Tiger gave A Yao a Short Axe, showed him how to grip it, and told him to become ruthless if he wanted to live with dignity.
  • Boss Li and the townspeople armed themselves to defend Scar, while Old Qian urged them not to risk a fight with Chun Prefecture.
