To everyone's surprise, the first person Ye Buyu chose to attack was neither Slyder, who would have been easy to fight, nor Kou Ying, who was within arm's reach, nor the cautious Li Fulin.
It was Qin Yue, the man who commanded vast armies, the Former World's Number One.
The super semi sped forward. Hanging from its front, Ye Buyu drew a handgun and aimed at Qin Yue.
Qin Yue flicked out a long saber with his right hand, pointing its edge at the semi, which showed no sign of slowing.
No one doubted that this slash would destroy the enemy before him.
"You chose me as your first opponent. You must be very confident in yourself."
The corners of Ye Buyu's mouth curved up. "I have my reasons, General Qin."
With that, she pulled the trigger.
A streak of light burst forth. Qin Yue's brow twitched. That was no bullet-it was clearly a chain.
The rustling chain abruptly wound around Qin Yue's saber. Ye Buyu pulled hard, drawing the chain taut and holding Qin Yue fast, her eyes filled with certainty of success.
"General Qin, let me borrow your strength!"
The taut chain suddenly retracted, and Qin Yue instinctively held down the saber in his hand.
At the other end, Ye Buyu was like a cat tethered to a large pickup truck. Gripping the chain, her entire body flew up under the tremendous pull, hurtling straight toward Qin Yue.
As she hurtled forward, Ye Buyu gripped the gun in her left hand and held the semi with her right. Amid the scene of primordial chaos, she suddenly exerted force with her right hand, lifting the semi above her head.
Bracing her palm against its underside, she hoisted the whole semi, becoming a fiend of monstrous strength.
