As Ye Buyu slid her fingertips, a faint crescent moon appeared, scattering into silver motes that drifted down like a veil over the night moon, gently draping Lou Guanshan in moonlight as thin as a cicada's wing.
A touch of coolness seeped into his brow. The silver motes entered Lou Guanshan's Mindscape and settled on the quiet planetary core.
An enormous crescent moon abruptly appeared in Lou Guanshan's Mindscape, pouring down silver radiance.
Lou Guanshan and [Earthshaker] looked up at the same time.
Identical lunar phases were reflected in their pupils. Under their gazes, the crescent moon began to change.
As the crescent moon traced its course backward, the quiet planetary core trembled. An ancient will, long asleep, gradually awakened along the silver markings.
The crescent shifted into a last-quarter moon. The planetary core suddenly erupted, hovering beneath it.
A figure emerged from the planetary core. First came a sharp sword tip, followed by brownish-orange hair. The man stepped out of the core, sword in hand.
[Earthshaker]'s pupils trembled. "Xiaofeng!"
"It's me! Surprised?"
The sword abruptly pierced [Earthshaker]'s indistinct body, and a pair of supremely confident eyes turned toward Lou Guanshan.
"Hey, youngster. Looks like you need a hand."
The last-quarter moon shifted into a waning gibbous. [Earthshaker] let out a pained wail as a hand pierced out from within.
Ten fingers spread outward, tearing open [Earthshaker]'s consciousness form. A black-haired young man stepped out.
Torn apart and re-forming, [Earthshaker] seethed with hatred. "Xiaoling!!"
The black-haired young man examined his palm, then raised his head toward the lunar phase that had brought about this miracle.
"I never thought I'd have another chance to set foot on this land."
The waning gibbous shifted into a full moon. A round moon shrouded the entire Mindscape, its lunar phase radiating cool, clear light.
