The logistics district was a little far away, but it was in a remote, open area. There was no need to pass through the busy districts; they could simply circle around the outskirts of the city.
Chen Luo's group formed a convoy of more than eighty vehicles. Would any band of survivors dare rob them?
Even smaller groups of Zombies had to obediently get out of their way.
Aside from roadblocks, they encountered no obstacles along the way.
An hour later, Chen Luo arrived near the logistics park.
Before the Apocalypse, Chen Luo had come here to scout suitable warehouse locations. He had also considered gathering supplies here, so he remembered the routes.
The logistics park had an extensive road network, with several routes leading into it.
There were also warehouses and small factories inside the park, each with anywhere from dozens to a hundred or so employees.
Nearby was a residential area serving the factory workers, with a cluster of single-story houses beside it.
As they passed a large warehouse, Chen Luo remembered that it held drinks and alcohol.
Chen Luo sent Xia Haoran, who was riding a motorcycle, to check it out.
Xia Haoran returned and said, "It's all empty."
Chen Luo did not care, but Zhao Hai was deeply disappointed. "Looks like we're not the only group here. Makes sense. It's just a warehouse, with hardly anyone around. Sigh, we should've come earlier."
Any supplies that were easy to gather were bound to have been taken already. There had to be survivors nearby.
They soon reached the first delivery depot, a certain Da Express branch.
The cars parked by the roadside, while the trucks pulled up at the depot's entrance.
Before he even got out, Chen Luo saw a large number of Zombie corpses beside the road.
