Invisibility worked by wrapping her entire body in her dark esper ability, or wrapping whatever she wanted to conceal, such as her clothes or bag, to make it invisible.
But she could not conceal just anything. Its power level had to be lower than hers.
For example, Xiao Yu could turn invisible along with Little Red, who was now level two, but she absolutely could not do the same with the level-five Chen Luo. She could not even conceal Meng Yin, who was the same level as her.
Although the mutants were dead, residual power remained in their bodies, so Xiao Yu could not drag a mutant's corpse along while keeping it invisible.
That was even more true of crystals, the source of that power. If Xiao Yu mastered the Invisibility Technique to its absolute limit, she might be able to conceal Chen Luo, but she would never be able to conceal a crystal.
If Xiao Yu dug out a crystal and moved around with it, it would look like a luminous pearl moving on its own in the darkness. Any zombie that saw it would surely come over out of curiosity.
