As he said goodbye to Sea Ji, Chen Luo said, "Don't kill the level-seven ones. Leave them alive, or capture them."
Level-seven crystals were of little use to Chen Luo. He would be better off letting those fish evolve to level nine or ten before killing them.
What was that called? Fish farming.
Killing them now really would be a waste.
Raise them for a year or two, and level-seven crystals would become level-nine crystals. What a bargain.
Sea Ji murmured an assent. "Your big sister will listen to you."
Chen Luo felt a little odd. This big sister was a killing machine to anyone who didn't know her, but once you got to know her, she was actually a little adorably clueless.
After putting the giant ribbonfish into his storage space, Chen Luo returned to the base.
Once back, Chen Luo went straight to Ma Yu.
Chen Luo tossed out the giant ribbonfish, giving Ma Yu a fright.
Ma Yu had never imagined a ribbonfish could grow so enormous.
If Ma Yu could actually make Mutant Creature meat taste good, Chen Luo felt her contribution would be even greater than Meng Yin's.
After all, Chen Luo wasn't actually short on food.
Ma Yu didn't quite know where to start. Although the giant ribbonfish's body had softened after death, that was only relative.
Her kitchen knife could barely cut it.
No problem. Chen Luo brought out his Void Sword and helped, cutting the ribbonfish into small sections.
Ribbonfish tasted best braised, of course.
Chen Luo said, "Use strong seasonings. The stronger, the better."
Chen Luo didn't need it to taste good. He only wanted it to taste less awful, enough to be tolerable.
Ma Yu cooked the ribbonfish using the flames of her own esper ability as the heat source.
