"Run! There's a Mutant!"
A group of survivors ran for their lives. They didn't need to outrun the Mutant, only the other people.
A few bold ones actually dared to linger nearby, gambling that the Mutant would die soon.
It was no secret anymore that Mutants could suddenly drop dead.
Chen Luo was passing by when he heard the commotion. How could he miss an opportunity like this?
Zombies that could no longer evolve rarely mutated, and the Zombies now were already level six.
That meant any Mutant would be at least level eight.
Possibly even level nine or ten.
Chen Luo was delighted. I've finally run into another Mutant.
It's as if they've all been hiding from me, refusing to show up in front of me.
Holding Silver Bell's hand, Chen Luo headed straight for the danger zone.
Halfway there, Chen Luo's enthusiasm cooled considerably. The commotion this Zombie was making was rather small. Just a weak little piece of trash.
This was a Lightning Mutant, and a female one at that.
She was feasting on a survivor who was already dead.
The Mutant couldn't quite understand why Chen Luo would approach her. Everyone else couldn't get away fast enough.
"Why aren't you running?"
"Don't tell me you've fallen for my beauty? Hehehe."
Chen Luo chuckled. Fooling around with a Zombie?
I've really never met anyone that perverted.
Chen Luo still had somewhere to be and couldn't be bothered to waste time on her.
Space Cutting.
Silver Bell's eyes sparkled. The Mutant everyone else desperately avoided had been killed by her master in a single move.
Master really is incredible.
When will I be that strong?
Maybe I could try improving Space Cutting, Silver Bell thought.
Silver Bell opened up the Mutant's skull, retrieved the crystal, wiped it clean
