Boom.
The earth shook violently. Even more than a dozen miles away, the tremors could still be felt.
"What happened?"
Wan Jiangui jumped in fright.
Beside Wan Jiangui, Ye Yu's gaze turned grave. His eyesight was excellent, and he could just make out something like a meteorite plummeting at tremendous speed.
That must have caused the earthquake.
Ye Yu said, "Come on, let's take a look. We might find some black iron or something in the meteorite."
Ye Yu's party consisted of three men. Besides him and Wan Jiangui, there was Gao Yiheng, another trusted confidant of Ye Yu's.
Of course, Wan Jiangui was his number-one lackey, and the one Ye Yu was closest to.
Their destination was an industrial park that had been abandoned even before the apocalypse.
As they approached, Ye Yu spotted an enormous crater in the distance, far larger than the one Chen Luo had created with his stomp that day.
Damn it, he wrecked my sports field that day and said he'd compensate me, but he never gave me a thing.
Then a sight appeared that left Ye Yu utterly horrified.
As the dust cleared, a man floated in the sky, throwing his head back in a long howl. His arms were spread, all ten fingers pointing skyward, and his long hair streamed behind him in the wind.
As the man howled, one enormous creature after another crawled out of the ground.
Four in total. The earthen-yellow giants stood beside the man, and every step they took sent tremors through the earth.
Ye Yu's eyes filled with disbelief. Every one of those giants gave him an oppressive sense of danger, and there were four of them.
He couldn't beat even one.
Once the disbelief passed, a look of wild joy appeared on Ye Yu's face.
