The King-Rank Crystal Big Strong obtained wasn't something he had picked up. He had beaten a King Rank zombie to death for it.
Big Strong and his group left the Dragon Nation, heading to Otherland for a change of scenery.
Thorn said, "There's a river over there. I'll fetch you some water."
Big Strong grunted in agreement. The former zombie queen was utterly obedient around him. His standing at home was even higher than Chen Luo's.
Around other zombies, Thorn returned to her cold, aloof self.
Fetching water was something another zombie, such as Little Mantou, could have done, but Thorn wanted to do it herself.
Unexpectedly, she ran into trouble.
Dressed in conspicuous red clothing, Thorn encountered a tall zombie.
The zombie gave a sinister smile. "You're quite something. How about joining me?"
Some zombie actually dared to hit on me?
Thorn smiled alluringly. A green plant sprouted from her palm with incredible speed, its enormous mouth lunging to swallow the zombie.
But Thunderbolt flashed across the zombie's body, and he swiftly dodged aside. "Sneaky little bitch," he said viciously.
Blue-green lightning flickered over the zombie's palm, swelling violently until it was more than two meters across.
The zombie charged at Thorn, the lightning in his palm striking her first.
Only then did Thorn realize this was no ordinary zombie.
Thorn had already been level nine before meeting Big Strong. If he had crystals, there was no way he wouldn't give her some.
By now, Thorn had been level ten for two months.
Thorn tried to dodge, but she clearly couldn't make it. The attack had come too suddenly.
Lightning struck Thorn's body, making her convulse violently as she screamed in agony.
