The Snake Mother's hair was disheveled, and she was covered in blood and filth, looking utterly bedraggled.
A dozen or so people stood guard beside her. At the sight of Chen Luo, their expressions immediately turned cold.
Reisad's voice came from afar. "Let him take her."
In the distance, Reisad watched Chen Luo calmly.
As if sensing something, the Snake Mother raised her head. When she saw Chen Luo, she burst into tears.
"Should I be glad to have a friend like you, or regret having a friend like you?"
Chen Luo sighed softly. "I'm sorry I dragged you into this."
With Reisad's orders, Chen Luo had no trouble undoing the Snake Mother's restraints.
That was when the Flower of the Other Shore erupted.
The Flower of the Other Shore was hidden in the hair at the back of the Snake Mother's head.
Once picked, the Flower of the Other Shore was almost transparent. Even parting her hair would barely reveal it, let alone when it was concealed within.
