I'm Lu Feng of Zhannan

In a red sedan by the roadside, the beauty with large eyes stared at Su Tianyu, her brows tightly knitted. "What are you talking about? Are you crazy?"

"Look behind you!" Su Tianyu shouted back.

The beauty glanced into the rearview mirror and saw Lu Feng and seven or eight burly men charging toward her car, weapons in hand.

"Surround it!" one of the men shouted as he ran, pointing at the red sedan.

The beauty wasn't an idiot. Seeing Lu Feng and the others covered in blood and carrying weapons, she knew she could easily get dragged into this, or even beaten up. She gripped the steering wheel with her right hand and floored the accelerator to escape.

Lu Feng and the others chased her like rabid dogs. Before the red sedan could pick up speed, they swung their weapons at its rear windshield, smashing it wildly.

"Stop!"

"Stay right there! I'll fucking kill you!"

"...!"

The men shouted threats as they battered the back of the red sedan. Cracks spread across the rear windshield, and tiny shards of glass flew into the car along with the weapons they hurled. The brand-new, oversized Winnie the Pooh plush on the back seat had the misfortune of taking two garbage forks to the head, sending stuffing flying everywhere.

Su Tianyu nervously looked back at Lu Feng and the others, who were still chasing them, and kept urging her, "Go faster! Hurry!"

An ordinary girl might have been so terrified by this sudden disaster that her legs went weak. To Su Tianyu's surprise, however, this beauty remained relatively calm, and her driving didn't suffer. Only after accelerating and overtaking several cars did she snap impatiently, "Stop yelling! We lost them!"

Su Tianyu glanced back twice more. Once he was sure they had shaken off Lu Feng and the others, he immediately said, "Pull over up ahead."

"Pull over? I was minding my own business, parked by the road, when you suddenly jumped in and brought all those..." The beauty's face went pale with fury, and she clenched her teeth, ready to curse him out.

Su Tianyu was afraid that lunatic Lu Feng would come after him in a car, and the red sedan was far too conspicuous, so he shouted again, "Cut the crap and pull over!"

"You...!"

"You think you can push me around because I'm not a thug?!" Su Tianyu made as if to reach for a weapon.

The beauty had no idea what this guy did, and she saw no reason to risk her life fighting someone like him. Resigning herself to her bad luck, she hit the brakes and stopped by the roadside.

Su Tianyu pushed open the door, pulled a few hundred in cash from his wallet, and tossed it onto the passenger seat. Glaring viciously at the beauty, he shouted, "I'm Lu Feng of Zhannan! Call the cops and I'll kill you! I'll slice your tits open!"

"...!" The beauty glared at him angrily but didn't dare say a word.

Su Tianyu vanished down the street in a flash. The beauty opened her door and looked back at the pitiful Winnie the Pooh plush and the mangled rear of her car. She planted her hands on her hips, trembling with rage.

Ring, ring!

Her phone rang. The beauty took it out and answered, "Hello?"

"Qiqi, where did you go? I came out, but I don't see you."

"Don't fucking ask. I was sitting in my car, enjoying my ice cream, when some maniac called Lu Feng jumped in..." The beauty angrily kicked a tire and began recounting what had happened to her friend, looking utterly exasperated.

Twenty minutes later, personnel from the Police Affairs Bureau arrived, brought the conflict under control, and separated the two groups involved in the fighting.

After only a cursory inspection of the scene, the Police Affairs Bureau official pulled the man in charge aside. "Your company can expand its business, but don't let things get too ugly. Otherwise, you put me in a difficult position. Understand?"

"They planned this! They stormed into the plant and started smashing things!" the man protested, feeling wronged.

"Are disputes in the Sanitation Sector really as simple as a street fight?" the person from the Police Affairs Bureau asked.

The man had no answer.

"How many employees' livelihoods are tied up in these four sanitation companies?" the official continued with a frown. "The Police Affairs Bureau will investigate this case, but we can't drop everything else and spend all our time settling your business disputes!"

The message was clear enough. The four groups employed too many people, and mishandling the situation could easily trigger mass unrest. That would undoubtedly be a major headache for the Police Affairs Bureau. As everyone knew, headaches were what officials feared most.

Su Tianyu took a taxi back to the Su Family home. As soon as he entered, his third sister and his two older brothers hurried out anxiously to meet him.

"You okay?" Su Tiannan asked with concern.

"Lu Feng's a fucking lunatic. He chased me down an entire street," Su Tianyu explained quietly. "I had to run a long way to lose them. Otherwise, I'd have been back ages ago."

"As long as you're okay." His third sister breathed a sigh of relief.

Seeing that his youngest brother was unhurt, Su Tiannan relaxed considerably. "I thought it over. That move you made in self-defense was necessary. At least now the Su-Liu-Bai-Kong alliance is bound to stick together."

"Right." Su Tianyu immediately nodded. "Tiannan, hurry and call the other three families over. We need to work out our next move."

"No problem. I'll call them now," Su Tiannan replied.

With knife wounds on his body, Su Tianbei limped over to Su Tianyu and poked him in the ribs. "Not bad, Six! A few years of school really changed you."

Su Tianyu adjusted his glasses with a scholarly air. "Anyone who touches my second brother loses an ear."

"Fuck, all that love I gave you wasn't wasted! Once I heal up, I'm definitely finding somewhere you can polish your skills again," Su Tianbei said happily, draping an arm around Su Tianyu's neck.

"Enough bullshit," their third sister scolded them. "Come inside and talk."

The family's younger generation went inside together, and Su Tiannan called the leaders of the other three families from the living room.

At a small clinic somewhere in Zhannan District, Bai Hongbo was having his injuries treated.

Around him, members of the Bai Family gathered, cursing as they talked.

Bai Hongbo, a man of culture, sat on the hospital bed, lost in thought. Truth be told, Big Bai felt some regret after the fight. He had never wanted relations with the Changqing Company to deteriorate this badly. For one thing, his old man was still being held at the Police Bureau. For another, he was genuinely afraid of that brute Lu Feng. The man's viciousness when beating people had left a deep impression on him.

After thinking it over for a long while, Bai Hongbo took out his phone with one hand, flipped it open with his chin, and dialed Lu Feng's number.

It couldn't be helped. People of status all liked flip phones. They looked more businesslike.

After a few brief rings, Lu Feng answered.

"Hello, Mr. Lu. This is Bai Hongbo. I feel I need to explain what happened today..." Bai Hongbo said amiably.

"Fuck your mother, Bai Hongbo!" Lu Feng opened with that classic national curse.

"Why are you swearing at me?" Bai Hongbo felt rather embarrassed.

"Your four families want to band together and pull this shit, don't you? Fine. Let me tell you something. Pack your bags and find yourself a decent crematorium. I'll do my best to get you and your dad in there together by the end of the month." Lu Feng finished with a dark expression and hung up.

Bai Hongbo looked completely bewildered.

"Hongbo, what did he say?"

"Fuck his mother!" Bai Hongbo snapped out of it and shouted viciously at his family members. "You think I'd even give him a chance to talk? I only called to tell him there's nothing left to discuss. It's time our four families banded together and launched a counterattack in self-defense!"

At the Zhannan District hospital, Lu Feng pulled his ear from his pocket and tossed it onto the table. Expressionless, he told the doctor, "Sew it back on!"

That evening, Bai Hongbo, Liu the Second, Kong Zhenghui, and the others all arrived at the Su Family home.

"With all four of our Four Companies shut down, the Management Council is getting nervous too," Su Tiannan began.

"Then let's get started," Kong Zhenghui was the first to agree.
