After her death, Ren Ye recovered his memories and gained Chaos Origin Qi as the clans gathered outside the trembling Immortal Palace.

• Ren Ye and Tian Wei entered the Divine Tomb with Li Xiaopang and the Storyteller, while Jiuhan later attacked the Storyteller and was killed when the Storyteller pursued him into the Nine Netherworlds.
• Ren Ye and Tian Wei sought shelter with the Sun Family, but Sun Michen tried to use their knowledge of the Origin Eyes to draw the Li Family into an alliance against the Zhao Family.
• Second Uncle Li sent Ren Ye, Tian Wei, Li Xiaopang, and the Storyteller into the Immortal Palace, where they found Ren Ye's tomb tablet and an empty jade coffin whose broken lid recalled his forgotten past.

Ren Ye became an Order agent and traveled to North Wind Town, where he investigated corruption, the imprisoned Jiu Zhi, and the massacre tied to missing Star Source. As he gained Liu Wei’s loyalty and uncovered signs of a setup, Wang Anquan’s son disappeared and Yu Tiange gained leverage over him.

• Ren Ye helped defeat the Sun Family, exposed Zhao Mi’s role in the Zhao Family’s crimes, and took his place as Delusion’s new master before leaving the village with the Storyteller’s secret exposed.
• The Old Fisherman recruited Ren Ye to rescue Jiu Zhi and reclaim North Wind Town, while Long Er assigned him to investigate Wang Anquan and recover a Dao-Comprehending Ginseng Fruit.
• Ren Ye recruited Daoist Chu and traveled to North Wind Town, where Niu Dali’s officials exploited prisoners and the Little Marquis claimed to know the Human Emperor Successor’s whereabouts.

• Yu Tiange coerced Wang Anquan into helping him study North Wind Town’s teleportation formations and prepare a rebellion, while Ren Ye investigated Lu Zhao’s disappearance and learned of Yu’s plans.
• Wang Anquan drugged the town’s officers and joined Yu Tiange’s uprising, but Yu’s group seized Jiu Zhi and treated the Wang Family as expendable while Wang Tudou’s squad intervened.
