"How did it go? Any problems?"
Li Yunyao looked up again when she saw Xu Ye and Lu Mingwang return.
"The biggest problem is that there aren't any problems... our trail has gone cold." Xu Ye studied Li Yunyao with seeming nonchalance, walked over, pulled up a chair, and sat beside her.
She seemed not to notice anything amiss.

He was a boy brimming with positivity.
"You're becoming more and more like Captain Meng..." Xu Ye shot him a glance.
At that, Lu Mingwang proudly raised his chin.

Only Xu Ye knew they had just over two months left.
"The only lead we have left is the coffin beneath the Rose Residential Complex. The Eternal Church went to enormous lengths to expose it, so it's probably part of the ritual. Just like ten years ago, they like to proceed cautiously, testing the waters again and again. Some of their actions are meant to mislead us, too. We have to distinguish those clearly."
"And there's something else..."
Li Yunyao spread out the newspaper.
The main headline in the latest paper concerned the Rose Residential Complex: "Fire at Rose Residential Complex leads experts to unexpected discovery of ancient artifacts underground."
"Shocking! Sows at a pig farm in Xinxiu District
