Kang Ao stared blankly at Xu Ye, his eyes alternating between clarity and confusion under the influence of [Soul-Seizing].
"Who is your father?"
"My father... is the..." Seeing Xu Ye raise his hand, his face twitched instinctively, and he hastily corrected himself. "My father is Councilor Wells. I'm his only son."
"With my father covering for me, I can do whatever I want. Heh heh." His voice brimmed with excitement.

He was essentially on the same level as Ivy's father, though the two seemed to be at odds.
