Wu Shaozhen checked the equipment the boss had dropped, picked out a skill scroll, a Spirit Fruit, and a Gold ring, then told Leng Feng, "Put the rest away. We'll divide it up later." The Spirit Fruit and Gold ring were for Wu Ziyin, while he needed the skill scroll himself. The remaining loot included another piece of Gold equipment, three pieces of Silver equipment, five pieces of Bronze equipment, and a Wind Blade Skill Book. The boss had awarded 200,000 experience, giving each of the five players 40,000.
Leng Feng walked over. "Brother Dustseal, we haven't really helped you with anything since we came in. So my sister and I talked it over. We'll share the equipment from the regular monsters, but you should take everything the bosses drop. We won't take a cut."
Wu Shaozhen gave Leng Feng a surprised look. He hadn't expected the siblings to resist such temptation. After all, they had agreed on the distribution before coming in. Even if they had said nothing, Wu Shaozhen wouldn't have blamed them, because he had known this would happen before they entered. He was so far ahead of other players now that anyone who teamed up with him could barely contribute. He could fill the roles of tank, damage dealer, and healer all by himself.
Their offer to give up their share of the boss loot made Wu Shaozhen think much more highly of them. The boss drops were the most valuable loot, after all. With an entire guild to support, resisting that temptation was no small feat.
Wu Shaozhen thought for a moment. "How about this? We'll split the earlier boss's loot as agreed. If there's a Dark Gold boss later, I'll get first pick of its equipment, and we'll split whatever's left evenly."
"Well..." Leng
