Background / History

Student life and entry into Oracle

Wu Ziyin depended on her older brother, Wu Shaozhen, for living expenses while attending university. When a classmate deliberately put her in a position where she broke an expensive bottle of cosmetics, she accepted responsibility for the damage rather than confront the classmate. Wu Shaozhen sent her 20,000 yuan, more than enough to cover the roughly 8,000-yuan replacement 28 44.

Encouraged by her roommate Weiwei, she spent 10,000 yuan of the remaining money on a Gaming Helmet. Although she had rarely played games, she hoped earnings from Oracle could reduce her brother’s financial burden. Learning that they could meet inside the game gave her another reason to play; Weiwei helped her log in for the first time 44 45.

Joining Dustseal

Wu Ziyin discovered that her brother was Dustseal when his account added her as a friend. He gave her gold for leveling and asked her to keep his identity secret 60.

After becoming a Priest, she joined him in Jinling City. He supplied equipment, the Magic Orb, cosmetic outfits, and a veil, and used Silver Big Bad Wolf to compensate for her extremely slow movement. He also gave her access to his in-game house 73 78.

Her second-place Killing Battlefield score allowed Weiwei to deduce that Dustseal was her brother. Wu Ziyin warned her not to tell anyone, but an overheard cafeteria remark later exposed the connection 103 115 127 130.

The Radiant Staff incident

While leveling with Silver Big Bad Wolf, Wu Ziyin was attacked by a group seeking her equipment. Her healing and Holy Light Shield delayed them, but she could not sustain herself once the shield expired and several attackers focused on her 117 118.

She was killed and dropped her Diamond-grade Radiant Staff. Wu Shaozhen recovered it after confronting twenty thousand players, leaving her deeply moved and frightened of leveling alone. The subsequent exposure of their identities led to real-world intruders targeting Wu Shaozhen; Young Master Wang later ordered his men to capture her instead 127 128 129 130 134.

Leaving university

Wu Shaozhen initially argued that she should leave university because game rewards and equipment sales could earn more money. Wu Ziyin asked for time to consider the decision 152.

She eventually left campus with him. He stored her luggage in the Heaven and Earth Ring and flew her home, proving that Oracle abilities could function in reality. She struggled to accept both that revelation and Zi You’s presence outside the game, then moved into an upstairs room at his home 205 206.

Becoming an independent combatant

Wu Ziyin increasingly fought alongside Yu Fei rather than relying entirely on her brother. With Feya tanking and Silver Big Bad Wolf controlling the surrounding rhinos, they defeated a level 55 Platinum Rhino King in under five minutes 221.

Her contribution to city defense extended beyond healing. She inflicted over 300 million damage on the Blood Demon before it killed her, and later used Angelic Hymn to stabilize the east gate’s defenders. Holy Light Judgment then killed the Platinum bosses at the east, west, and south gates, allowing the players to counterattack 233 259.

Defending the home

When Dark Veil assassins broke into the villa, Wu Ziyin blocked their route upstairs despite being frightened. Holy Light Shield stopped a dagger and bullets, and Holy Light Judgment destroyed Madman as he tried to reach the second floor 276.

She was distressed by having killed someone. Zi You’s subsequent execution of the surviving intruders made her vomit, though psychological suggestion helped her face the cleanup. Wu Shaozhen reassured her that she had been brave, and the group soon relocated to the Farmhouse Resort 277 278 279 280.

Cross-server battles and later support

Using a Cross-Server Teleportation Stone, Wu Ziyin traveled to H Server and redeemed its only Golden Gift Pack for the Staff of Redemption. She and Silver Big Bad Wolf repeatedly defeated its players, while major guilds avoided confronting her. In fewer than three days, she gathered enough equipment to upgrade the staff beyond her existing weapon 434.

She later finished the challenge tournament’s preliminary matches with a perfect record and learned Perfect Recovery from its rewards. In battles against Otherworldly Demons, her thirtyfold health and defense buffs enabled allied fighters to withstand much larger enemy forces 438 442 573.

The demons eventually isolated her and Guardian in a special space. Fangdang Buji’s intervention collapsed it, allowing her to return and renew the party’s buffs; he also helped her evade another capture attempt during the following battle 597 598.

First sacrifice and revival

After the Blood Demon disaster killed many of their companions, Wu Ziyin sent Wu Shaozhen away by asking him to fetch the childhood doll he had given her. She then emptied her mana and used Sacrifice to revive every dead Human within her expanded range, giving her own life in exchange. The Ice and Snow Empress warned that the skill completely extinguished her soul 491.

Wu Shaozhen used Time Rewind to return to their conversation and confronted her about the plan. Sacrifice was nevertheless used again, and her body disintegrated. A surviving Soulfire was guarded by Wu Shaozhen, Zi You, the Ice and Snow Empress, Old Teng, and their companions until she returned to life. The rescue cost Wu Shaozhen his Time Rewind scroll and Netherworld Pearl 492 493 494.

Final sacrifice and restoration

Before Wu Shaozhen’s confrontation with the Supreme God, Wu Ziyin concealed that the Netherworld Pearl could no longer revive her. After his breakthrough buried their fallen companions beneath a collapsed mountain, she used Sacrifice with her soul to restore everyone within range 636.

Wu Shaozhen sought help from the Tree of Life, which identified itself as the only being capable of bringing her back. After more than a month of gathering energy, it produced a fruit that reconstructed her body and soul. Three days later, her figure emerged in a dazzling white light, and Zi You shielded her with darkness. The Tree explicitly confirmed that she would remain the same Human rather than become an elf 640 643.

Personality

Wu Ziyin is considerate, obedient, and reluctant to burden her brother. She concealed the details of the cosmetics dispute to avoid worrying him and entered Oracle partly to support him financially. Wu Shaozhen describes her as a disciplined student who has always done well academically 28 44 45.

She recognizes her limitations without losing interest in improving. Her choice of Priest reflects that self-awareness, while her earlier decision to invest most attribute points in spirit shows that she also evaluates her build independently 73 93.

With friends and family, she is playful and mischievous. She diverts Weiwei’s questions by accusing her of wanting to become her sister-in-law and repeatedly tries to push Wu Shaozhen and Yu Fei together 82 202 214 276.

Her fear of violence does not prevent her from acting. She stands between assassins and her brother’s room, later fights powerful enemies, and twice accepts death to restore others. Helping Wu Shaozhen remains a central source of happiness for her 276 442 491 636.
